Yes, it will be in your annual Quote. You can't made foreign transaction without endorsement. Regarding those who paid application fee with DD, don't have
to worry about it, as it was last year and quote reset at January starting of the calender year. So those of us made DD for landing fee made it from
their annual quote of this year.

As per Bangladesh Bank Foreign Exchange Master Circular (2009) ; Immigration Fee is is totally separate issue from Travel Quota (TQ).

the Immigration Fee / RPRF will not effect in any way at TQ.
You may wait till Sunday for which I will provide the details section of specific para of that circular of Bangladesh bank

For those who paid RPRF with a DD, should the RPRF amount be subtracted from this dollar limit? I am saying this because SCB put a record on the last page of my passport (where dollar endorsement entries are placed) that I purchased a DD worth of CAD $980 from them. So, the BD immigration officer will know for sure that this year I spent $$ on something!

mcgyver Bhaiya,

TQ relates only int'l travel purpose not any visa fee payment for tourist/student/business.
BUT anyone can transaction through BD int'l credit card for hotel booking / book purchase or some educational equipment purchase from passport endorsed TQ.

So that if anyone makes payment for RPRF from their BD int'l CC, mean that money should deduct from their TQ because that TQ already indorsed in their passport to spend FC that need to be adjusted when it is spent. Reason Bank need to get all information when anyone makes payment from their BD CC because card authority can't authorized that transaction if it is more than 100USD at once transaction.

But if anyone buy the RPRF payment from SCB that shouldn't be endorsed in passport because that payment out of TQ and it is authorized by BB to make this kind of payment by issuing DD/TT. Even though for same case of student tuition fee payment...

I hope I may make some point here to avoid confusion.... ;D ;D ;D

perfect description. But, it's a shame that most bankers doesn't have that much Foreign exchange rules (even some officials of SCB ).

If SCB did endorsed against TQ for RPRF; it's a great misconduct of foreign exchange rules of BB master circular issued 2009 .

I have no idea on other branches of SCB but whatever I made DD from SCB North branch as always, they never endorsed to passport even we made tourist visa DD for NZ. I & spouse had/have also SCB global CC endorsed against TQ in our passport but the amount of visa fee deducted from my bank account not from credit card account...

Hmmm.... So, how can we take the rest of the money without visiting Bangladesh, let's say, after staying in Canada for 10/12 months? After going to Canada and staying there for 6 months, one is eligible to open one FC at a Bangladeshi bank, if I am correct. Is that the way to do it? Can we open FC accounts remotely from Canada and transfer dollars (again, subject to the limit)?

Bangladesh Bank has recently (this year 2015) moderate one circular that any Bangladeshi nationalities (who is staying aboard) can take his/her desired amount out of BD if s/he can manage to prove that his/her lifestyle required additional amount. But, it must be certified by that country authorized person. for ex. you are staying in Canada and intend to buy a house. So, the Canadian component authority will issue a letter addressing the required amount. Once you present the Authorized letter to your Bangladeshi Bank; they will transfer the mentioned amount to that prescribe Canadian Bank.

The circular was issued from BB this year.
