It depends. As i found my PCC was stuck into Dhanmondi thana for more then 2 weeks. they did not even call me. then i called thana and then they replied me as they have less people so they could not contact me. After that i met with them in person and make it done.

My experience is rather good. I applied at the one stop service, within two three days a SI from Uttara West thana came to my home and asked to see some document but did not ask for any money. Received the PCC by courier within a week. Same happened with the PCC of my wife, at least upto the visit of SI. Waiting for her PCC now. No money asked for or given in either case.

application reached at CIC on 31st December, 2014.

As per GLOBAL spreadsheet update till today, there is no any application has received PER or nominated after 29-Dec. But there is only one applicants input the application received on 31-Dec but I am little doubt on that.

For your ease, you can check by your payment encasement. If you found that your CC/DD has encased then you can wait until end of this month and mean time you can call CIC to get your file status.

Otherwise I would suggest to apply through Express Entry without delay any time.

Would you please update your info in the global database and it is easy -

After submitting please click on the "Edit Your Response" link & bookmark it for future update.

AOR - As per database you will receive your AOR within 30~45 days after your PER email from CIC. Once you will receive your AOR in the time frame (as per assessment from database) your all background i.e. criminality, security etc check will start and it will be continued until Decision Made..

Your process is normal and correct way but all are not same. In a contrast how you handle them by your professionalism...
