Dear Seniors:
What is the expected time frame of PPR?
Thanks in advance for you support!

Congrats....
You should get your PP request in 2-4 weeks (actually the current avg is 17days on SS).
Please keep us in your prayers... We, the left offs also wish to share our good news to forum buddies but the time is playing with us badly.

Anyways bro... best of luck...
And +1 for you ... :)

Hi all,

I am willing to travel to Toronto early august. I have seen that Turkish Airlines is offering cheapest rate at this moment for a one way journey. Is there anyone travelled through this airways? How much luggage they allows per person. Do you have suggestion regarding other airlines? Please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Bro,

I don't have practical travel experience from Dhaka to Toronto but from my personal experience to other route my comments on that compare to any airlines Turkish Airline is cheaper but as a long journey I always prefer better aircraft with better service from better airlines company.

In this regards I always prefer to travel by Emirates Airways and compare to their service it seems much cheaper at end of time. Or you can travel by Cathey/Dragon Air through Hong Kong by less travel time.

However if you want to save same money rather any service, you can choose Turkish even you can choose through China Airlines.

Hope it will give you an idea to choice.
Wish you a good and new life in Canada...

Thanks a lot for your valuable input. If you can give some example of how the service differs between emirates and turkish, it will be even more helpful.

Well, Please don't think that I am working in some airlines, I am just giving you from as a passenger expectation -

Emirates (EK) operated 3 aircrafts (most probably) per day from Bangladesh.
All diplomats and even our PM travel trough Emirates.
If you travel Economics class you will feel you are traveling in business class
EK provides good food and better entertainment and service.
EK gives you hotel at Dubai if your transit more than 8 hours.
You will get port of entry at Dubai to enter that city.
Turkish will travel through Istanbul.
Dubai is much better city than Istanbul.
EK has latest fleet and even you travel latest Boeing.
Bigger flight from Dhaka to Dubai but Turkish is small.
Economy class has much space in EK but congested in Turkish from Dhaka route.

These are the basic comparisons for your easy understanding.
If anyone here in this forum who has travelled from Dhaka to Toronto can give you more comparison.

:) :) :)

Qatar Airways is good but most probably their transit time long but they don't provide hotel... You can check with them, I have less experience on Qatar. :D

In addition to Shamrajjo Bro, I'd like to mention that, new immigrants can avail huge discount from various airlines, by the help of IOM (International Organization for Migration, an agency of the United Nations).

So, I guess there won't be much difference, in financial terms between regular Turkish Airlines Tickets & discounted Emirates Tickets ( I must admit, I don't know the actual pricing)
