Hi SJTZ sister,

Yes, you can ask for GCMS notes anytime you want, theoretically. There is no restriction. But one must ask himself/herself a question whether it is the right time to get GCMS notes. My personal experience is that I once asked for GCMS just too early, for the curiosity. When the notes came, it was not that useful..... I got GCMS notes again but only AFTER my second line was added. That time I found traces of so many activities done by officers. By the way, yes, multiple officers may work on a single file at different stages of processing. They worked on mine, for sure, as I could easily read their activity logs and comments.

As CI_DREAM brother said, for mental satisfaction one may seek GCMS notes. So, if you think your second line should have been added a long time ago or if you are just too impatient to bear the pain of waiting, you can send a request and wait for 30 days. That may work as a tonic = calm feeling produced from the thought that at least something will come after 30 days!

mcgyver bhai, if second line is not updated, cant we raise GCMS?

Yes you can.... The note will tell you:

1. If immigration officers have started processing your application
2. When your application will be due for formal assessment
3. How the visa officer assessed your qualifications
4. If there are any missing documents
5. If there are any problems with the file you submitted
6. Why your file is taking too long
7. Why you were called for an interview
8. Status of your case and required documents
9. Immigration officer's assessment of your case (points calculations)
10. Immigration officer's notes
11. Program assistant's notes
12. Details of the processing stages passed
13. Questions you will be asked in the interview (if an interview is required)
14. etc.

Hope it will help you....

Hi All,

I am realizing that though I already replied/posted more than 500 within last 3 months of time I think I am attending too much :-X, however, DON'T KNOW either those were helpful or not to others :-\.

Please keep feedback to others including our more seniors who are more knowledgeable in this forum.

As a family of this forum I wish everyone success in their life.... :) :) :)

There are no specific instruction about this that you need to keep the fund for consecutive month. The fund checking is done on random cases and if you can convince the case officer about the source of the fund than there is no problem.

Dear zstream,
I mentioned about 3 consecutive months because I know a person and he was rejected for this specific reason and CIC replied he had to keep the money for at least last 3 consecutive months. What he did, during submission he showed the required POF amount but then he spend the money for other reason. When he was asked to submit again about one year later to show POF, then he again accumulated and submitted the statement. And finally CIC rejected him and specified the reason as you had to keep the money at least last 3 consecutive months. For your kind information he was applicant of couple of years back.

Regards

SGVO was in a sleep mode today.. no one noticed any updates
:(

Dear Seniors/Experts,

I have an important question.

According to Bangladesh Forex Regulations, any traveler can carry not more than USD 7,000.00 (or EQV) per year.

On the other hand, for single applicant CAD 11,931 (or USD 9,339 USD) require to show as POF during application.

My question is, what CBSA officer will do during landing if they found that I have USD 7,000.00 (which is USD 2,339.00 less).

Expecting your prompt feedback...

Regards, Kayes

GCMS always helps.
I think it is right time for you to request GCMS. at least it will give you mental satisfaction.
And another thing (only my guess) SGVO starts work on file after getting a GCMS note request.

My site visit completed after 15 days of my first GCMS request
got 2nd line update after 2 days of 2nd GCMS note request.

It May be coincidence.

its not coincidence bro, someone also told me same thing happened to him, he didn't get response for long time, as soon as GCMS requested he got response from SGVO immediately

Brothers,

Can any one tell me what does DUE DATE means in GCMS notes. As I already have shared my details of GCMS Report in one of my earlier post here..there wasn't much to talk about.

The only thing I have found is some DUE DATE for assessment, medical, security and criminality.

Can some put some lights in this please....

I was also wondering to open up an UNLUCKY SGVO Thread where people like me has got stuck can cry together lol...any thoughts brothers??? :P :P ;D
