FOR YOUR INFORMATION:

Regarding the letter of authentication for driving license from BD, all u need to do is go to the Brac bank counter in mirpur inside BRTA (counter no. 15&16), tell them u need to pay 138 BDT, write a letter addressing to the assistant director, photocopy of ur license, and submit these three docs in the assistant directors room. That's it! They will prepare the certificate within 2 business days.

Hope it helps :)

Brothers and sisters,

as many of you I'm waiting for my MR but at this point I really want to ensure that I have a fair idea about what I'm going to do once I get there in Canada. I know my 7 yrs experience on marketing job and BBA degree isn't going to be counted. As a mother of a 1.5yr old I think I won't able to study or work fully. My husband is confused and concerned about gfuture because we have no idea about the costs and the possible income.ppl say once u go there you'll have to do survival jobs and study simultaneously. But is the govt gonna help with the tuition fees? "Survival jobs" is a very vague term don't know what they mean by that. Anyone can help me to see what's ahead?

Please?!

My four years of experience in UK and consultation with the friends in Canada advise

1) Start doing exercise to build up physical fitness. Otherwise you may not cope with the load arriving there, mostly after being 25 years of old.
2) Prepare to volunteer. One year volunteer experience is four times effective than a bachelor program there. There is a reason of one year back up funding. Now time has gone to land with $1 and earn $1m after 5 years.
3) You can take interest free loans there. With that you should earn a minimum certificate. You will need it besides volunteering.
4) After 6 months of volunteering, hire social and executive coach to train yourself for the executive works. As from Bangladesh, you need to develop your core behaviors.
5) Never rush for quick money going there. Otherwise you will be stuck to casual (odd) works.
6) If you want the so called "White Collar" work, leave all of your philosophies in Bangladesh and do a fresh start reachign there.

This is my return of more $50K information to this site.

Hi Uttara,

I made a CSI after 3 months of my medical asking them about the status of my application but haven't get back from them yet. I did not order GCMS but had a plan to order one if haven't got my PPR after 6-7 months. I think it is not a bad idea to order a GCMS after waiting for 4-5 month from completion of medical.

please what do you mean by CSI n GCMS?
TIA,
SMAK02

Wow! Thanks a lot for being honest and logical. Thanks for the bullet pointed tips as I am a list freak. I don't know whether anyone else would have told me, a random stranger, what to do with such intrigrity. How do I give you a +1 that everyone talks about giving each other? New here ;D

Thanks Bro for the encouragement... irony is that my application reached on Nov 21 and no update at Global SS after Nov 20.. :)

Any update hamidur vai? From SS it looks like you might be one of the borderline cases for 2281.

visacenter, dhanmondi

Thanks Zubayer bhai. What I realise from my observation: -

1. For immigration Visa purposes VOs are usually very through in investigation
2. Process being thorough many applicants get stuck for nitty bitty grits which are mostly only time-consuming but mostly successful
3. It's natural of us to be worried when things take unusually long
4. Agencies like your's and some others are trying to convert these worries into fear and capitalise on at a later time

In my experience I have known few such incidents which at a later date ends up in additional payment for 'Visa on a deal' contract. I hope you get the picture, so don't be scared mate and if you feel being held for too long it is your legal right to seek GCMS note. Additionally you really do not need your agency for the GCMS process at all and can do all by yourself.

I am not worried about +1 here, my friend.

I forgot to write the foremost point, the driving license.

Before anything, take the tests and get a Canadian driving license; it's prerequisite is to take lessons landing there, even you are a fantastic driver in Bangladesh. Without any driving knowledge, do not take the international driving license with you. You will produce accidents and damage our (BD) reputation. Moreover, insurances on international ones are very high. I hate those stupid people who just land and create a mess without license and manners. Even for casual (odd) jobs, you will be required to have a car and clean driving license.

Clearly means you can not land without money. Just for the sake of $8-12000 people waste 3-4 years at least. A genius is born among a million or less. If you were, you are not emigrating to Canada, the hard truth thereby.

In Bangladesh, the biggest enemies are your friends and relatives, they will not let you to do mistake in advance and learn. Fortunately, there are no friends and relatives in Canada/1st world countries. If you find one, you are still that unlucky.

Nothing yet.. Yes I am indeed on the borderline.. From another thread, i just came to know that an applicant (forum ID NewWorld) from India Just got PER 12 hours back. His application reached on 20th November. Seems like I took One day once too many to send my application at this point.. ;D

I am not too worried in a sense that whatever will happen will be for my own betterment as par Allah's wish.. Till then I am happy to wait.. :)
