Hi Gurus!

7 of us namely v_i_r_u_s, aendromidous, mcgyver, mfi_faisal, Saikot, selim.hasan, dhakaattitude are stuck at ECAS 2nd line awaiting MR, app received time mostly is 250+ days. The other day I went to talk to my agents to discuss options for CSE & GCMS for a clearer picture however they scared me away by mentioning a case where They raised a CSE whereupon CIC/SGVO declined a file by cutting 2 points from work experience despite having passed the initial processing (and thereby lapsing his/her entire processing fee of CAD 550/applicant).

Now that we "The Lucky 7" are stuck for a while now what are the probabilities of fatal 'point cutting' and declining our application?

The theory of "point cutting" is rubbish one. The probability is zero.

Do you mean the agent had manipulated? I am also thinking, if job exp does not match usually VO ask job ref letter again.

Dear brother,

It's a simple analysis. And the thing that makes Brother Century & rest of us so confident that we have the CIC operating manual. We read that. We know what they do. And moreover many of us didn't opt for any consultant rather we went through the whole CIC website and did all the stuffs by ourselves and we successfully passed through. So brother Century & we completely agree that what your consultant has informed is totally wrong. So relax. Don't put yourself in any unnecessary tension. :)

If you get the UCI (Unique Client Identification) number from your representative then you can check yourself in online (ECAS). Best luck.....
