Just wondering how do so many people update the global SS with DD encashment information as I heard that there are very slim chance of getting those information from SCB. BTW, what is the standard number of Dates for DD encashment and PER receive?

Today i went to few banks(SCB, EBL, BRAC) for endorsing and buying CAD from them. None of them sell CAD. They only sell USD/GBP etc.

Any idea how to endorse and collect CAD from a bank?

Dear Milon Bhai.

Though Bank is not issuing any traveler's Cheque it is better to endorse the full amount of travel quota from money exchange booth then you will be able to get CAD or any currency. None of bank from BD can provide you any other currency except USD or GBP.

You can take travellers cheque/cash in US Dollars. It is also accepted as proof of funds.

Did you do medical test and send the receipt?

I have no any confident on travelers cheques issue from any bank except SCB or HSBC because it may face lot of trouble during time of en-cash in Canada or any other country. Because AmEx bank already exit their operation from Bangladesh even issuing cheques.....

From my understanding that there is no option rather you need to carry the cash either by any amount of endorsement or not in your passport.

Bother, my answer is No... Any bank and money exchange can't endorse by CAD in passport. Usually Bank can issue demand draft/bank draft in CAD but they can't endorse any other currency except USD. So it is ok to endorse your passport whatever they except to endorse in highest level of one time travel but you can carry cash USD7000 as you will travel as a new immigrant and it is normal that you can carry that amount in first time leaving country with your one way ticket.

So no worry brother and you can prepare you travel and buy dollar from local money exchange and keep your receipt/invoice from money exchange during your travel from Dhaka airport. You can show USD in Canada immigration and it is not required only that you need carry CAD. You can deposit USD to your new opening account in Canada easily.

Alhamdulillah I got 2nd line on 8th January. I am 9th June applicant got per on 3rd October. how many more days I can expect to get Mr ppr request.

Only the MIGHTY SGVO can tell that wan2no..There are several applicants whose 2nd line updated on October,but most of them did not get MR yet..
