and Bank Draft from Dutch Bangla Bank is okay for fee payment ??

Possibly draft from DBBL is not OK though I am not sure.

But during my RPRF Fee they specifically mentioned that they only accept DD from SCB.

Fortune and my Medical:

Since it was taking too long to get any email/response from SG after my second line addition (9th Oct 14), I have applied for GCMS report on 18th Nov. I rcvd the report one month later...Since I am moving it took two days to read the email....

[size=13pt]And then what I have seen on the GCMS report ( @ correspondence section ) - They have sent me Medical Request on 20th Oct 14 with below docs:

1. Medical Attachment for me and spouse
2. PCC for BD and FBI report
3. Photo
4. Updated Employment letter from HR dept
5. Right of Permanent Residence Fee

They had given 60 days for all of this formalities.Whole body of the emails is written GCMS report (with all other correspondences like PER/AOR etc.).

So I have already crossed that time frame.

After that I have sent an email to SG referring to this GCMS report's email and informed them that I have not rcvd any email communication from them. They have sent me an email immediately with Medical attachment and instruction. This time they have given me 30 days and mentioned that they will refuse my application otherewise.

So after waiting of 20 months I have finally received Medical request (without receiving any prior doc req from them).

Thanks to all of the forum members........Please receive my sincere gratitude for supporting me through out this painful time... :) . I am really grateful to all of you.

Asking my presence on ur prayer for my upcoming process and career........

Many congratulations...... :) :) :) Pray for us.

Waiting for AOR- Already passed 34 days from PER
Can anybody share me when i could expect my AOR. I am little bit worried now as 34 days passed. Should i make any query to CSE-Singapore.
I am principal Applicant.
My Spouse last month visited abroad for his official purposes after i submitted my application to CIC. Weather i have to inform VO-Singapore regarding his recent abroad visit. if i have to inform VO, then how i will inform them any specific guideline or i have to filled up the travel information form again.

No. Only you & your wife & children(If you are married)

Yes, If for CIC payment you can but if it is for RPRF payment then only draft of Standard Chartered Bank.

Today I checked with my bank about my DD encashment. They infomed me that my DD has been encashed. But they cannot give the exact date. Last I called the bank on 15 December. So my DD encashed between 15 - 24 December.

My application date is 19 September 2014.

Its a good news to hear that the DD has been encashed.

Now wait for the PER.

Hi forum members,

You should consult other banks in that case. Recently Bangladesh Bank made a circular making it easier to transfer foreign currency from Bangladesh. And if you r married you can carry some cash and make travellers cheque ( one in ur name, one in ur wife's name)

Mine is 20K as I promised to SGVO. I guess, we all have to take risk of carrying those money into our pocket. Legally we cannot carry those amount of cash. Other possible solution, if you can open an account in your name in Canada through your friends/relatives, transfer money at that account and show the statement.

i am trying to figure out whether an officer at a port of entry is likely to ask an arriving pr holder how he/she has got so much money in a Canadian bank account.

No, they don't ask it. You just have to declare if you bring CAD10000 or more. They don't ask the source or method.
