Question about Short-Landing in Ontario

Hi seniors and landed immigrants..

As you know, for Ontario, there is a waiting time of 3 months to get public health insurance coverage.
I have a questions in this regard and I appreciate having your feedback.

Is it possible to submit health insurance application immediately after landing and get the card after 3 months mailed to an address of a friend? So after moving permanently, the card will be ready for use if needed.

1) Does ServiceOntario office accept bank statement as 'proof of address' to apply for health insurance?
2) Is it possible to get a printed bank statement directly from the bank after 3-4 days of opening an account? Because I guess you will get your first bank statement by postal mail only after a month or so.

That means they asked to submit POF again. If that is the case they yes you have to submit new POF along with other docs.

pls enlight me more.. i have fixed deposit worth 11 lac. Back in may, its equivalent was 15,775 CAD. But now its 16216 CAD.

Now question is, should i show the old fund statement with old bank solvency certificate or ask for new??

pls enlight me more.. i have fixed deposit worth 11 lac. Back in may, its equivalent was 15,775 CAD. But now its 16216 CAD.

Now question is, should i show the old fund statement with old bank solvency certificate or ask for new??

I have kept my money till today. And if they ask me i will show them the same. May be a little bit more. So if your money is still there you just show them the same.

30/40days later you will receive AOR from SGVO. And Can you pls tell your timeline. Like your NOC, App rcv date etc.

Fixed deposit certificate got to be same. 11 lac will remain 11 lac. Provide photocopy of it.

Balance certificate go to be new/latest one. Due to change of exchange rate, the value should be changed also.

BTW, when you fill up net worth statement, do use a single exchange rate. You can use the below, print it out, and attach it. http://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/convert/?Amount=1&From=CAD&To=BDT

2. RPRF
3.4 photographs
4. Original passport ofcourse, with 'Appendix A' form

But there's also a pdf attached named 'Personal Net worth statement.' What should i do with it?? should i attach this with passport aswell??

Did you send bank statement along with bank certificate when applied?
