What would be my expected date for medical check?

Do every applicant has to face interview?

Is there any local visa office in Bangladesh? or I have to go Singapore.

Expected medical time is uncertain as SGVO does it randomly. It's actually up to the visa officer.

As our visa office is in Singapore we don't need to face any interview. But in case of an exception the Dhaka High Commission will conduct it.

So you don't need to go to Singapore in case of any interview.

Now Mr. Hasan can you please share your Job duties with me cozz one of my friend under your NOC has applied in October and he is very much tensed about the job duties. If you share it will be a big help for my friend.

That is not correct. In the case where an interview is required, it is quite a common practice that the VO asks the applicant for an interview even if that may require the applicant to fly. There are examples available on this very website. A little search will bring up. Of course, not everyone is asked to attend an interview. I am writing about those for whom an interview is not waived unfortunately.

Bhaiya, u can collect it from register office room number 305. There is a small payment amount i forgot about. Yes u can get it in one day, if u hv a junior there who will pay the fees beforehand.

I had received my AOR on 29 09 14 - them medical on 05 11 14. I believe I am among those lucky persons who received medical very quickly - so you can add another 1 month+ in average time.

Interview for SGVO is quite unusual thing. until you have some serious complication in your family situation or job status you don't need to be worried about interview. one example - one of my lawyer's client had a divorce earlier and a child with unsolved custody case - she was called for a interview...

I also saw a large thread that was about the London Visa Office, where people were sharing their interview experience. I am trying to find it at the moment.

The point is that, one will have to fly if the venue is in a different city/country. Oh yes, they won't send a plane ticket since it is not a job interview.

My NOC is 4011. As u requested for JD, I just modified the JD given by cic website. I am giving that here.

• Teach one or more university subjects to undergraduate and graduate students
• Prepare and deliver lectures to students and conduct laboratory sessions or discussion groups
• Prepare, administer and grade examinations, laboratory assignments and reports
• Advise students on course and academic matters and career decisions
• Direct research programs of graduate students and advise on research matters
• Conduct research in field of specialization and publish findings in scholarly journals or books
• May serve on faculty committees dealing with such matters as curriculum planning and degree requirements, and perform a variety of administrative duties
• May represent their universities as speakers and guest lecturers
• May provide professional consultative services to government, industry and private individuals
• University professors specialize in a particular subject matter such as biology, chemistry, anatomy, sociology, business administration or law


I think with some simple addition or deletion ur friend can make a JD suitable for him.
