Dear Seniors:

I had submitted my application under NOC-2171 which was received by MIKE on 8-Oct-2014, now I can see from CIC site that the specified CAP is already filled and since I didn't get any email so far I believe I have no hope to be eligible for this year (year 2014).

Can anyone please help me on how I will know the status of my application and how to get the refund, also how to be the applicant for next year (year 2015, if possible).

Little help will be really appreciated.

I have a query regarding medical request. I received AOR from SGVO on 20th November. Recently my wife has conceived. Now I am worried about the medical exam. :-[ Is there any fellow forum members who have done the medical exams during pregnancy? If any of you share your experience it would be much of help

I have gone through the same situation like you. We did medical last week at Dr. Wahab's place.My wife was 16 weeks pregnant at that time and we did the x-ray too since we planned the baby to be born in canada. After studying a lot through the web and discussing with other family doctors we came with this decision.

We informed the radiologist regarding this and he assured us that he will use the lowest possible radiation for her x-ray and used a lead shield too. Hope things went good over that.

Now we are waiting for the rest of the processing and expecting it will go smoothly and fast. Hope our taken minimal risk will bring good for our upcoming baby.

I have some confusion regarding WES. I have applied for WES evaluation and got two letters where it is written I have completed 4 years bachelor equivalent to Canada. That's it. So I took one of the letter and sent it with my application as WES evaluation. Now some people are asking me what is my equivalent grading? But I didn't get any equivalent grading sheet from WES. Then what is this equivalent grading thing? Do I need it?

So far I know grading is required for student visa purpose, and the evaluation of equivalency is required for immigration. CIC will not assess your grade points to give you points. How much education year you have studied is the main concern for immigration.
