How much CAD equivalent to TK we can carry with us as IMMIGRANT visa holders during our departure..
We r 3 Persons. 2 adults, 1 child.

Can anyone suggest regarding the settlement fund require for FSWP application? How long does the savings bank account needs to keep the fund in the account before applying? When CIC will verify, will they check if the fund was there at the date at which bank statement was collected or does it have to stay in account on the day CIC contacts the bank regarding the balance of that account at that particular day?

People who has granted the PR, can you share your experience?
I am showing the fund staying at my account for a week and I will take it out after application is sent.

Please suggest.

Its not mandatory to keep the balance earlier.....

Usually it does not have any impact...

But suggestion is to maintain the balance consistently after app submission....

Today I've received this below msg. Seems like SUJAN_CS case. What i can understand from this is, SGVO has changed it's approach regarding MR+RPRF+PCC mail.

hi apu,

i am an application of fsw 2014 program,i have got MR+RPRF+PCC request few days back but now my query is i only got one 8 page long form for what document i need to submit mentioning my application file number and one rprf instruction form, i didnt get any separate medical form,now my question is how do i submit my medical results,did the same thing happened to u??

Sometimes, VO takes 48 hrs to send the medical forms....If they dont send even after this time then its their fault....

Its not change in format...

Since the form contains IME number which is required for doing medical on the medical center....

If RPRF is only a Bank Draft paid to reciever general of Canada , then how CIC will realize it is RPRF ?

By checking the volume of the CAD which is 490 CAD and this is only needed for RPRF...

"We are pleased to confirm that your National Police Check (NPC) has been completed and your certificate will be dispatched via the next available Australia Post service to your nominated mailing address."

few days ago I sent a query regarding adding my new born.

They replied:

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in Singapore.


- an IMM8 application form and Family Information Form filled in for the child

- two recent passport-size photographs of your child according to the specifications

How to fill up IMM8 form??? Additional Dependents: Personal Details of New Born or mine info! :-S really confusing.

Again, in Family Information guide line it is written as

"Who needs to complete this form?

This form must be completed by each person, 18 years of age or older, applying for a Temporary Resident Visa, a study or work permit outside Canada."

But here in my mail asked for "Family Information Form filled in for the child" :'(

- two recent passport-size photographs of your child according to the specifications: Should I write name and photo taken date in the back part or not?

I have not seen any form named IMM8...

Just for ur info...for child addition just follow the below docs ....they will add accordingly....This is already followed by several applicants ....


1. Updated Additional Family Information IMM5406” FOR U AND SPOUSE.
2. 150 CAD bank draft
3. With a cover letter mentioning your new born child addition.
4. Child Birth Certificate
5. Passport.
6. updated Bank cert (+statement )
7. PHOTO-6 COPIES (WITH FIVE COPIES WRITTEN WITH NAME+DOB+Photo taken date )
8. Generic Application form

Usually they dont bother for such duration bcoz they are well concerned that it takes time to get child's PP and BC or other papers....

So dont worry....
