does anyone got passport request or medical request applied under fswp 2013 program,i heard Singapore visa office usually takes longer time than other visa offices to process file, is it true????

None of FSW13 rcvd MR/ PP request yet....And ur news is absolutely true....No one can prove it false....

I work in Dhaka. My passport shows the address of my home town as my permanent address. I did not mention present address separately. I went to the passport office to change this information. Now they are asking me to change the information in my National ID first. Besides, the signatures in my NID and passport are in Bangla. Some people are suggesting me to use English signature in my passport.
So my questions are:
1. Is it necessary that the PRESENT ADDRESS of passport and RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS of the generic application form should match? In that case those will be in two different cities.
2. Do I need to change my passport signature? If I change passport signature without changing NID then the signatures will be different. Will it be a problem.?

This is nothing but a stupid protocol they are trying to show so that u will be disturbed by them.....in return they can have some bribe.........Present address can be changed ....

1. So no problem if u put different add over generic form....
2. In that case u can avoid whole NID thing since this is an optional point. And yes if u send NID and PP then both sign should be sync. And Bengali sign is acceptable....put ur PP sign everywhere of the CIC forms and docs....

CIC should not have any headache about the present address.....Dont think they are alike of BD passport and Immigration office....

So put ur current residential address (not the native address)on the generic form (say Dhaka). This need not to be synced with ur PP current address...

Thank you very much. Your advice is a great help to me. I'm going to renew my passport from my hometown then. People at the district passport offices are more cooperative.

Where to send the applications?? is it NS, Canada as per the guide or Singapore?? I went to Fed Ex office and they confused me saying that people are sending FSW applications to Singapore!!

I went to SCB Karwan Bazar branch today to make the bank draft. I have a account here. They've given me 1 KYC (know your customer) and T/M form for each of my family member, to get those signed from them.

So, if you want to do the bank draft in one go, take your wife (and kids, if they are adult) with you or collect the forms beforehand.

P.S. : They also told me to take marriage certificate/nikahnama and all original passports will the filled & signed forms;
