I just finished with my generic application and collecting documentation. When finally I clicked on VALIDATION button, I got a page full of bar codes along with confirmation message that application has been validated. But the print option on PDF is disabled, which means I cannot print the application.

Has anyone else gone through this issue? Thinking I might have done something wrong here, I filled another application but ended up with same issue.

Appreciate if anyone can help...

U have downloaded an intermediate updated form which had such issue (footer is Jul-14)...Please redownload this form i hope u will find the print option again.....

Dear Experienced all,
I have been asked for Medical+RPRF+IMM 0008+IMM 5669+ PNWS+PCC to send by next 40 days. As per Dr.'s centre, Medical already send to SVO but still not updated in the online status.

1. For giving update with IMM 0008 (Generic form) & Background deceleration, what types document I have to attached as an ANNEXURES to support the filled up IMM 0008+IMM 5669 forms .

2. Are Annexures to be NOTARIZED?

This will be of assistance for me.

I did med on 22 Jul'14 and as per Med Centre, they sent it on 23 Jul'14. But no update done in the online application status of CIC till today. Normally how many days it requires to get?

Dear all,
I was in Middle east (one GCC country) for few years in 3-4 years back. I have been asked by SVO to submit PCC.

just 12-13 days before leaving of the GCC country (in 2010) I collected a PCC from the respective country. Since it's possible to collect the fresh one but 3-4 months time is required and little bit difficult to get the full cooperation with information from the respective embassy in Dhaka.

So i'm planning to use the old one which I brought while leaving that country along with Fresh one from Dhaka metropolitan Police.


So my query is, how I can use this ( OLD PCC which I brought while leaving the GCC country) with suitable explanation. If any one have same experience, please suggest and others also can help with providing a proper explanation in this case.

I would appreciate for any suggestion/way of explanation for above mentioned case.

1st Ques: If I want to show 6 yrs work experience to get the points of 15, do I need to have the jobs under the same NOC code 1113 for all through the 6 yrs job period?

2nd Ques: I am submitting the appointment letters of 3 jobs, release letters of 2 jobs (excluding the current job) and a Work experience certificate of the current job. Do I have to submit the work experience letters from my two previous jobs as well?

1. You will get point for both the NOCs' experiences.

2. If you don't provide work experiences letter, how could CIO review officer match your duties with NOC description, brother? To claim point, detail job description is mandatory.

Thank you very much for sharing your experience. I really appreciate you for taking the time out and writing such a long note.

I have recently visited Canada to complete my landing formalities and would like to share my experience accordingly:

1. It is always advisable to take as much money as you can with you while moving to Canada. Now we are legally allowed to take US$7000.00 per adult and US$3500.00 per child with us as per travel quota. To take more money than this, there are some tricks you need to play. You can issue an international Demand Draft payable to you and your wife from any bank in Bangladesh up to US$7000.00 per head. Now the respective bank will endorse this in your passport. This 2 DD you can encash in the Canadian bank but will take around 2 weeks. You can buy another US$7000.00 per head from any money changer. The airport people didn't ask any question to me about money but it is not guaranteed. They will not be interested to find the DD from you as it is just a per copy and you can tell them you are carrying cash USD as per travel quota. I would suggest to take cash CAD instead of USD to minimize the transaction loss.

2. My favorite airline in this route is Emirates specially if you are traveling with kids. You can get the same ticket in discounted price from IOM. Emirates will give you hotel while transiting in Dubai. They will give you the hotel voucher while checking in Dhaka and you can collect the visa coupon in Dubai airport Emirates counter near the immigration desk. Its pretty simple and they will guide you through the time. All of them speaks good English. You will get 2 bags of 23KG per adult and 1 bag of 23KG per children. I would suggest to take less number of suitcases and instead take cartoons of medium/big sizes from packers & movers company.

3. You can now complete the basic immigration formalities in Toronto airport i.e. landing formalities with the passport and COPR, customs and SIN. Rest of the things you need to complete by vising the Service Canada office.

4. You don't need to pay any money for the luggage trolleys any more. Now it is free of charge.

I will share more of my experience later on.

This BD_Dhaka. Though I am not that much familiar I have asked for 02/03 topics. This is my 1st mail from Toronto I left BD on Dec 23,2014 by Turkish Air. I would like to share some of my experience with you :

1. While carring extra money in BD Airport its your luck whether the security checkers will hold you. I have flown several times bt for the 1st time I been checked they wanted to count the money. Bt the Best thing is They take open bribe carry around BDT 5-10,000 in case of emergency. ...WOW ...my suggestion Bring as much possible as you can and put a handsome amount of BDT with you for Bribe. Here you can easily convert BDT into CAD.

2. Pls. donot try to fly by Turkish its more than rubbish. My flight was delayed from dhaka airport so I missed connecting flight as a result I need stay there but the problem started at Turkey airport where no one understands English so they cannot guide. You need take visa to avail the hotel (This is available @ $20/passport from the right corner of the airport). Then you have to stand a long line to get ur Hotel Connection (Its at the ground floor right corner of the airport). Now come to the flight Food is below average and the service was not upto the mark. If you are more than 5-8" dont travel u cannot seat there like me u need to put ur one leg at Aile and move it all the time when some one passes (Better to buy premium economy seats is possible from istambul to toronto; from dhaka this is not available). No kids meal is available. But my suggetion try to fly cathey pacific (Dragon air) you will find class passengers no labor....the most disgusting its like middle east flight full labor packed and because of them u cabin crews do want to come. Or you can try Saudia.....Though Dhk-Riadh/Jeddah is not good due to labour....bt From there to Toronto....its the best....Saudia has best economy class seats in terms of Leg Space. Please check Saudia and/or Cathey Pacific (Dragon Air) before you cut tickets

3. The rest is immigration its I will say....Dont worry just prepare the landing forms earlier (2 sets) and take photos (2sets) of ornaments....they are really helpful and if you have kids.......then Hurry u can feel the diffarance ....like I felt...LOL ...always preveliged....Try to Bring 1dollar/2 dollar coins (Penny and tunni) so that u can take luggage trolleys. If you cannot manage then take CAD10 so that you can hire a porter who will carry all your luggage.

4. After landing SIN Card, health Card............dont worry....these are systematic........you will feel why we want to come here...everywhere you will find newcommers office.... so their straight they will directly help you...Dont worry atall.
5. For jobs ..........no need think just come first....u will find lot of agencies....they will help you....just be patient....
