Dear forum mates,

Does anybody applied from Bangladesh last year's FSW program and then CIO returned the application package as CAP reached but ultimately you did not get back due to lost in transit (efficiency in postal service Grin)? I have this special experience and the main problem is that Foreign DD (as application fee) was also with that package. Although by this time, the DD is invalid (over 6 months from issue date); my issuing bank is denying returning the money to my account unless I produce the original DD to them.

As CIC send this on regular mail and you are very much aware of Govt. postal service in our country, I am quite sure that I will not get it back ever. Do you have any idea/experience how to recover this money?

Any kind of suggestion is highly expected.

Does Standard Chartered in Bangladesh provide any kind of information regarding DD encashment?

Thanks

Q.11 Date and Place of your last entry to Canada.
Not applicable for me. I never enter to canada. Should I have to keep it as it is or write N/A

Contact Information:
Current Mailing Address:
P.O. Box: I dont have. Should I have to keep it as it is or write N/A
Apt/Unit: Should keep it as it is or write N/A or Mention only floor number
Residential Address:

Yes, they are asking for the original Draft. I was wondering if anyone has faced the similar problem like me.

No I mean , if one has used their DD , is it possible to know whether the DD has been encashed or not?

Yes, why not? Through the DD reference no., Bank can confirm whether it is en-cashed or not. In the International DD clearing house Bank can know if it is already cashed otherwise it will remain as an unreconciled item. What I heard SCB's Int. DD cleared through Chennai, India. Local Bank may need to communicate with them.

Dear Experts,

I wrote in Background Form like below:

I wrote
Secondary School Certificate = Secondary
Higher Secondary Certificate = Higher Sec.

Is it ok?

should I have to write
Secondary School Certificate = SSC
Higher Secondary Certificate = HSC
B.Sc in Engineering = B.Sc

Please suggest the right one

I am not sure, But why dont u go to ur WES acc and check whether they are allowing to pay with CC or not?

if u enable to pay via CC then no issue...just try it now....

And let us know...:)
