Dear forum mates,
Does anybody applied from Bangladesh last year's FSW program and then CIO returned the application package as CAP reached but ultimately you did not get back due to lost in transit (efficiency in postal service Grin)? I have this special experience and the main problem is that Foreign DD (as application fee) was also with that package. Although by this time, the DD is invalid (over 6 months from issue date); my issuing bank is denying returning the money to my account unless I produce the original DD to them.
As CIC send this on regular mail and you are very much aware of Govt. postal service in our country, I am quite sure that I will not get it back ever. Do you have any idea/experience how to recover this money?
Any kind of suggestion is highly expected.
