Need advice about "Proof of Fund" for FSW 2014

What would be the best place to put my money, for showing Proof of Fund ?
Would it be better to have FDR at SCB, HSBC or Commercial Bank of Ceylon, instead of local banks?
Does any one have any experience regarding this ?

I have FDR's covering required amount at Jamuna Bank & IDLC. Should I move them to a foreign bank ?

It can be any bank, any currency, any country. But u have to have the minimum required amount. thats all.

Dear All

By the grace of almighty ALLAH 28th April,2014 we got the permanent residence visa for CANADA, My 29 months waiting at last got the result, Long time waiting made it more sweet, ALHAMDULILLAH .
Thank You all forum mates who helped me throughout the process and Specially Abrar abian (Alamgir Bhai) the active forum member of the forum who allowed us to help each other .
I am Planning to leave Dhaka 18th May,2014 by Emirates. In this regards, I am expecting more guideline & advice from our senior forum mates.

My husband applied for me and the current status is showing that the application and the medical papers are received.the receiving date was 16th july,2013...My query is what would be the next step and how long does it take usually?

It's better to keep the fund in PA's account. But not mandatory to keep it in the PA's account. you can also keep the money in your accompanying spouse's account, no problemo!! ;D
Savings account statement will also work.

pl could u tell me how many months i have to show the POF ?
is it ok if i put my POF at a time as one year fixed deposit and send the certificate from the Bank issued by Bank Manager

there's no fixed timeline. a huge amount of money transaction out of no where may arouse a question, but it's no matter if the money is yours and have proper explanations.
