Dear Forum Mates,

Hope this post finds all of you in best of your health & cheer!

I have been a silent member for this forum for a long time. I do appreciate your suggestions to and cooperation with each other. I have benefited a lot from you in preparing myself to start my new life in Canada. Now I am almost set to start the challenging journey and thus do require Du'a and a little help from your end.

I along with my family (spouse and a 21 month old son) am going to land in Toronto on 30 April 2014. I am looking for a short term (1 to 4 moths) accommodation in Toronto starting from 01 May 2014. I will consider it for long term if I stay Toronto for a long time and if I find the accommodation convenient. Though I prefer a furnished one, semi furnished will do as well. I’d love to have a home closer to a Mosque.

Please provide me any relevant information as per your awareness or pass the information to your known ones. I am available at zahid1709 AT gmail DOT com

If you want a place near mosque, there are many places inside Toronto. What you need to do is, just go to google map and search for Islam/Islamic/ Mosque (Any of them), then you would find the mosques in Toronto and then from there, search the nearby aprtmns. If you like any place search that number of the aprtmn in google web to find out the reviews. Go through the reviews and then select the one you like. If you like something, you can also send me message and I can give you some more info on that.

i just wanted to share a job opportunity for those who have already landed here and looking for job. its a 14 CAD per hour job, 40 hrs per week, 3 years contract, after contract you'll get 800-1300 CAD per month for a year as Employment Insurance, and after that you are also eligible to get a grant of 25000 to 30000 CAD under Second Career to go for study which includes your living expenses.
