Dear Brothers/Sisters,

I'm from Bangladesh. Can anyone help me about paying to WES for ECA report? I don't have an International credit card.

1) What are the alternative method of paying fees to WES?
2) For alternate method, what is the way to inform WES that I have paid their fees?
3) My wife is my only dependent. Shall I have to complete medical tests for my parents also?

Please help me with your experience.
Thanks in advance.

1) You can also use any visa/mastercard debit card, I have used this to pay for some family and friends successfully. WES would not charge your CC/DC until all documents have been received.

2) You can cut a Bank draft in Canadian dollars via a Bank that can do so in your home country and send it along with a photocopy of your certificate. WES would not withdraw this amount until they have received all documents from you and your educational institution(transcript).

3) You don't do any medical examination right now until your application has been given a PER by the CIC and sent to a VO in-charge of your country's PR application who will then get in touch with you subsequently. Even after you have been granted your PRV, your parent will have to come later by applying for them a Super-visa, after you may have been able to settle down for sometime.

Hope this helps...

Dear Bro,

Thanks for your prompt reply. But I think the debit card I have, will not support paying in a foreign institution. So I have to go with the Bank draft process. If I attach the payment slip along with the university's sealed envelop (Not opening the envelop, just adding the slip and put both in a bigger envelop), will it be accepted to WES?

Thanks//

You're welcome.

Once you have cut the Canadian dollar bank draft, you don't need any payment slip again!....and where would you get a payment slip? Or what do you mean?

My advice is for you to tell your educational institution to help you send the transcript directly to WES, as they would process your ECR within 7days of receipt with all other docs and payment but if you send it to them yourself(opening it or not), they will have to write your school to confirm the authenticity of the transcript which would further delay the timing for the readiness of your report.
My two cents!

You make haste if you still want to makeup with the 2014 FSWP...

All the best!

Is it essential to have a "Machine Readable Passport" while applying for FSWP? I've an analog passport. Will it create any problem for immigration?

It is essential to have Machine Readable Passport. What is your expected NOC Code?

As long as it's still the one being recognised by your country...some countries have both analog/e-passports which is valid to be used by their citizens while some phase-out the production of the analog for the electronic ones...

You need checking with your country's immigration services before doing so.

All the best!

Thanks bro.

My NOC code is 0131.

If I apply for a machine readable passport,

1) will my passport number be changed?
2) will the validity remain same or increased? (My passport's present validity is up to 2017).
3) Suppose I filled up the forms with the old passport number. Then I got the new passport (MRP) with a new number. What should be my next step?
