Yes, I received my PR card. There has been slight delay by 3 weeks due to the Ice Storm in Ontario.

Yes he can leave Canada anytime after entering into the country and come back after 6 months. But it is strongly recommended to stay until he gets his PR card which takes up to 59 Calendar days

Yes, you can cancel your Credit Card any time. It will not effect your process. But get ready to pay RPRF within next month. Coz We are expecting the good news from you by 15th of February. :)

Actually he can, in fact all of you can, no problem. The issue is you need someone to get the PR cards collected to his address and DHL to Malaysia to you. Without these cards you can not enter Canada again, If you can you need again the documents, the causes and the so called crazy processing time, may be you are looking forward 6-8 months in total after applying.

There are actually many of our forum mates who did the same thing, landed and went back to Country within 15 days. Got the PR card posted by friends from canada after 60 days.

Salam and regards

1. You ALL can go back from Canada right after your landing and other formalities are done. Please note that current trend for PR card processing time is exactly 2.5 months. That's what I have seen for a number of cases (surely it can vary though).

2. When you will provide them the mailing address for delivering the PR card, it will be delivered there. Your friend/relative need to send it to you in order to make you guys enable to enter Canada again.

3. Settling down every single thing surely take time and there is NO problem for your husband to get back once the landing is done.

4. Since your husband is looking for go out from Canada and come back after six months, be careful with the Goods to Follow form (B4A). Try to put many things over there as well so that all the stuffs you can carry without tax after a while.

5. So far I can remember, you need to qualify with the requirement to stay physically in Canada for 730 days in 5 years time to keep you PR resumed. That means, you can stay outside Canada for a while.

Good luck!
