We had a long afternoon g2g today 24th August, Saturday, 3 PM onwards, we all:
01. Hoquejamal,
02. hhshumon
03. haq_bd
04. Joya
05. neel123
06. SKY BLUE
07. Aditto and
08. Saydul Were present. It was fun. We discussed the following:

01. Things to do before departure, (transcripts and certificates, experience certificates, etc)
02. Things to accompany list (I have a soft copy of things to accompany list, will mail to all of you if given the mail id.)
04. IOM ticket issue: many of us already got tickets, few of us are exploring IOM.
05. Luggage issue, cartoon with luggage, saves money and space.
06. Fund issue: take cash usd 2000 from bank (city) and 3000 cad from money exchange,
07. Original Driving licence are to be accompanied with a previous old one showing 5 years experience atleast and can be sourced from BRTA mirpur office gate with few quids.
08. We keep on keeping close contacts with each Other.

School admissions are open for anyone throughout the year. Usually there are 2/3 elementary schools in a catchment within walking distance. There are usually seats available in one of those. So no worries. I am also planning to go November end along 02 kids of mine. Cheers

Thanks for sharing the valuable information,
Please kindly clear me the 06 point; if I take cash 2000 USD from Bank and 3000 CAD from money exchange, what should I say to customs in Dhaka airport if they ask about how much dollar I am carrying with? Advice please.

You could endorse only $5000/PP for adult and $2500/PP for child under 18 yrs of age or equivalent other foreign currency like CAD. Bank endorses only $2000 in cash and rest $3000 in bank draft or money order or travelers cheque.

My suggestion..............

1. Go to the bank which deals with USD and CAD.
2. Endorse USD as minimum as you need to manage your initial expenditure (Example- $500/ PP).
3. Endorse rest of the USD in other foreign currency particularly CAD as Money Order or Bank Draft.
4. Don't go to money exchange. It will cost much.

CAD is cheaper than USD. So you will be benefited.
You can also take few CAD from money exchange without endorsing in PP.

I am sure, this is the best option.
