Dear Shuman bhai and other forum mates ,
Greetings from Canada ,
Safely landed on 17th of June , now live in London Ontario. Will start a job from next week in University of Western Ontario admin but for temporary(for three month) and also start a voluntary work in immigrant settlement office in coming September. Still leave with my relatives do not know how long as we get a basement apartment (free) from my brother in law. Not yet received our PR cards and SIN number issued in Airport.Enjoyed a hassle free journey in Toronto Pearson Airport, everybody welcome us with a big smile.Sorry for my delayed response.hope that all my forum friend now on their last phase of their dream.

Which address should i use to send application pack..
program = economic
category = skilled worker
There are 3 addresses, except for the Phd category, i am confused whether i should sent to the first address or to the last address.

Hi,

I am sending this message to you for the second time. Actually we (me and KFH) are getting some hard time as we sent our passports from North America to CIC Singapore. We saw decision made on our profile but did not receive our passports in 3-5 weeks after decision made.

I already authorized FedEx to collect our passports on my behalf. I have a question to people who have received their PR visa from singapore. Is there any time restriction or applicant/representatives can go to CIC Singapore at any time of a week for passport submission and passport return.
Please suggest me on this issue if you know the details.

Hi everyone,

Please get ur credentials assessed before getting admitted into a university/college. After applying 5 colleges for next September semester through ontariocolleges.com i sent my credentials to ICAS, later i came to know that it will take 6-8 months to get the result back. By this time the enrollment deadline of the semester will be over. Such a waste of money & time for own stupidity.

By the way, last week i went to Niagara Falls. It is awesome. If get chance give a tour.

Are you going to submit Passport in VFS Dhaka? What AUVO Instructed to submit..in SVO or AUVO?

Sorry for late reply. I have submitted to VFS after getting confirmation from AuVO. For Bangladesh Passport, it is Singapore VO.

Sent Passport on 21 July, Received on 23 July. Still the status showing "under process"

Have you attended the CIIP session? It will help your queries.

You can apply from Bangladesh but u will not have any response at all. As you need to write your CV in Canadian style, you need to give a Canadian address and you might need Canadian experience. They will not bother to even acknowledge application receipt, if someone gives Bangladesh Address.

You need to have degrees and license to teach in Ontario, without these Canadian degrees and credentials its even absurd to think to apply for one. One of my colleague from BRAC University, with loads of foreign degrees is doing a part time admin job there, let alone teaching. I am getting ready for the same situation as well (I am an assistant prof. too). If you plan to go for teaching you need to explore the Ontario requirements for uni teachers.

Yes the reality is it takes almost 2 and half a month (+/-) to have your PR in hand. Now a days they call u on and off for collecting the PR card in person from their office.
Previously they used to post these.

Thanks a lot. I have attended CIIP and got some idea. I am not rigid to teaching although I have foreign degrees and Professor. I mean is it possible to get minimum reasonable job. I heard about you. Please provide personal message. I want to keep in touch with you if you permit.
