Dear mates,
I received ppr yesterday. They asked me to send it to SGVO. They added another line-'Pls note that, DIPLOMATIC/OFFICIAL passports are NOT accepted.' But I am holding official passport. Now what to do? Pls share me my friends.

Isn't it an offence to have two passports at the sametime?
One has to surrender the official one before having a personal one, if I am not wrong drastically.
Things are bit more complex than the regular cases. Best regards

Apa ami bohal tobiyotey Dhaka te asi, Allah cahe to aro 4-5 months more. Our passports are stuck at SVO still for last 3 months. So do Doas for us. Cheers

I reached Toronto on 31 by Emirates. No dollar issue raised at Dhaka airport but needed to inform at Pearson's. No B4 or other forms except 'Declaration card'. Transit visa at Dubai was a little bit time consuming than my idea. SIN formalities also completed at Pearson.

Have a nice Eid-Mumarak in advance.

I know there is no other alternative than the regular MRP. Accordingly, I contacted to the pp officials. But their answer is not satisfactory. Now what are the probable solutions/ways? How did your brother collect it? How many days it requires? From where it can be obtained?
My MR has been done. PPR has come following the submission of RPRF+PCC.

He submitted application for New MRP in reference to the Existing PP. So no police verification required. They returned to the Old one as it's number is metioned in the MRP. So he carriing both now. One more thing, you have to manage passport office for quick delivery!!! but Old one is not active and it's only reference of the NEW one!

Regarding dollar issue; have any one faced any trouble in Dhaka airport for more than endorsed figure carry with while traveling? although Bangladesh commercial bank has endorsed less figure from stipulated amount from CIC despite we shall be shown same stipulated amount in Canada Airport. what is the way?

Usually they don't. I have flown more than 30 times from Dhaka mostly for official purposes, just once they counted the amount I have had carried with me. What I did for our case was just putting dollars in different places, i.e. Backpack, Laptop bag, etc. But please make sure that you can remember every single place you stored the money and can accumulate all of those if you want.
