You have to bought the ticket at lest 15 days before travel.....
IOM book ticket for you till that time....
(Just reminder: Communiction with IOM is very patient job)

pls suggest regarding IOM. i called them but only statement they cas share is to send mail with scanned visa.

my q is can i buy tickey through iom now for octobar flight? will they provide or ticket will be available just before flight date only. also will they confirm seat also?

pls let me hv ure experience.

I am little bit confusion about dollar endorsement. Can I endorse it any commercial bank or from only Standard Chartered Bank as Singapore embassy was emphasized to Stan Chant. while seeking ROPR. So, can I endorse dollar from City,Southeast,Jamuna etc which are convenient & availability to me. Pl.advice

Better you go to Standard chartered bank. They will give 2000 dollars in cash and 2000 dollars in TC.

After waiting for IOM for almost 4 weeks. today I booked booked tickets for Emirates on 22nd August through another travel agent.

I mailed, text'ed and called Mr. Jahangir of IOM many many times. He doesn't receive calls, is never in the office (I called the office as well) and he never replied any of my mails.

Because of IOM, I am having to buy tickets at a higher price. The price was much lower 4 weeks ago, and also more options were available.

I really don't understand why IOM offers such service, since they can't actually help the immigrants. They don't even have any dedicated person to take care of the immigrants.

We are four members family. I don,t have any account in stan chat & account open is also hard task in SC. moreover, carrying more cash from another bank to stan chat is also risky.So will it any problem if I endorse from others commercial bank where i can easily open accounts & transfer fund thr.online? My destination is edmonton where others commercial bank endorsement cash,TC etc acceptable in there. Pl.advice
