I would like to fly in October. Is it wise to booking now or latter. Is IOM provide round trip ticket? How much is the price of round trip by turkish and emirates?

Congratulations to all who got PPR and Maple leaf with COPR.

Those who are planning to fly soon can keep the following items in their list.

This includes some important medicines which may relief some symptoms instantly. So, please keep them in your hand luggage if you include them in your list. Some of the item you may need while travelling and some later. Please keep in mind, apart from the Over the counter (OTC) medicine you would not able to buy there without prescription. If you need any prescription medicine then take few there as well.

Hyoscine butalbromide/ Hyoscine hydrobromide or
Cinarizine (during travel)

Loratidine, Cetirizine, Chloramphenicol (For hayfever or related symptoms in the summer in CANADA)

Paracetamol
Orsaline
Loperamide

Some of the medicine you can’t buy without prescriptions are as follows-
Ranitidine, Omeprazole, Diclofenac, Flagyl, Amoxicillin

Only take few with you if you think you will need them.

Wish you all a pleasant journey.

Regards,

Green

Any one know about Traveling Insurance. I got information that we can make insurance from home country in order to cover initial 1st three months health care. The health care facilities would provide Ontario province after three months later. Can I take three months health care insurance from Bangladesh thr.Travel Insurance?
If u r planning to move ON or BC then waiting time recently changed to 5 months (from 3 months)!!! I have gone through the policies. I takes CAD 350 -550 depending many things.... and it will cover the whole period of waiting times. U may search google for it (Health insurance for immigrants to ON). But it does not cover pregnancy related issues...

Below is one insurance company...
Group Medical Services
toll-free 1.800.667.3699 fax 306.525.6360 email info@gms.ca
www.gms.ca

Hope that it will help you

There is nothing to do any more. I have already bought my ticket for 25th July and for my wife& baby on 28th September. But, thanks for sharing ur experience mate.

Dear NNfall, the transit time of 1:40 in Istanbul is too short. There are every possibility that your luggage may miss the flight and will be sent later. It will be big trouble if the luggage does not go in the same flight.

Think about it.

Cheers.

Hello everyone

I'm a bit confused about the Areas of Training Part of the Quebec Skilled Worker application. According to the Intake of applications page

There are 2 pdf links. One for you to get 6 pts and one for you to get 12 or 16 pts.

I have BSc in Engineering ( Electronics and Telecommunications) and MBA from Bangladesh.

According to the 1st link (i.e. to get 6 pts) it falls under the degree obtained in quebec or equivalent part.

In the quebec degree equivalency sheet and going to the Bangladesh page from there

I find BSc in Engineering is listed there. So is it equivalent to the quebec degree and am I eligible for those 6 pts?

Please help. I want to apply for QSW and have intermediate French skills as well. ( Passed A2 with 6 pts). Deadline is approaching 31st July.

I wanted to post all the links but I was not allowed to.

Bhai, What you are asking should not be familiar to any of our forum mates, as none of us have browsed or explored or know much about the new system.
(Especially when you are referring to Quebec provincial nominee). Our applications were done between 2009-2011. If you have any queries regarding the
previous systems, we are comfortable, and will be happy to share. I think you are to explore other forums where, they are new applicants only.

Cheers and maley bari................................. ;D
