is there any one who has done his / her ECA from WES .
If any one did it then wud u plz ans my following queries:
1.do i need to submit the original transcript of my graduation ? one told me that they will accept the certified copy of the certificates but the transcript sud b the original copy.
2. how will the university fill up the supporting form ,in hand or print.
3. how long the total process of ECA takes from WES.

1. No. You need to send them true copies. You need to go to your registrers' office. They will photocopy your original and sign on each page of your photocopy. then they will seal it and sign over the flap and return it to you.
2. hand or print; anyone will do.
3. it depends how soon your university informs wes about you. after you send your package to wes, they will verify it by sending mail/fax/email to your university. your university should verify it soon so that WES can complete your application soon!

I also checked this issue with few of my friends who did credential assessment via WES and ICAS. According to their opinion, procedure of ICAS is pretty simple and hassle free !

Shahriar bhai ki credential assessment koriyechhen? Amader taratari kaj suru kora uchit. I donno how helpful would DU be. Ora ki WES'er email reply korbe? Ar certificate kibhabe assess korabo? Certificate ki duplicate copy tola jay?

I have just received the long-cherished PPR. It came through normal mail. I hope the 'Gittu' is going to be loosen now on. So, people waiting for PPR can feel optimistic. It was really painful waiting for this and amongst many of us I am luckier. I will be waiting for good news of the other mates.

yes your brother can reapply with keeping existing application and also mention his old application number. But if he got inprocess status in his ecas , he will not receive his previous application fee. Better to apply 2nd time , if got positive response form second file then he can inform CIC to withdraw his first file . ( sorry for delayed response , as my dad is in hospital for brain ham marge, please pray for him.) Inshallah you brother will get a positive response in his second application .

Amar bondhu "Bidhan Paul", Credential Assessment WES er maddhome koriyechilo & faced much trouble... sharing with you what I learned from him

- O Canada jaoar age DU theke Transcript + WES er Form Dhaka University Registrar office theke Sign & Seal mere WES, Canada address e Courier e pathiye dey. He paid around Tk 50,000 as fee for him & his spouse !

- WES tarpor DU Registrar Office e Email / Fax kore to check the Authenticity of his Transcript......but DU did not reply their query .

- Tarpor Amar Friend er younger sister DU office e besh koyek bar giye follow up kore..... then DU authority replied WES via Email / Fax.

- So, for my friend it took quite a long time to get the equivalency report from WES than normal time !!

However, two of my other friends has suggested me use ICAS instead of WES !

- Photocopy of transcript needs to be attested by Canadian doctor / lawyer/ Service canada office first, then you can deposit to ICAS

- In Toronto "woodgreen community services" help immigrants to do credential assessment free of charge !
