6. PNW

and which occupation they count most? is there any chance for sales & marketing manager for fsw 2013?

does GPO delivers goods in home or i've to bring them from a certain location?

GPO normally deliver goods to your home in Canada. But, if the Canadian customs think that your goods is subject to Tax or Government duty, then your goods will be held by customs until you pay the Tax or Government duty. But, the GPO's partner in Canada will inform you by a letter "Your goods are held by Canadian customs at ............. address. Please pay your Tax or Government duty & collect it from the mentioned address".

Once, I transferred my computer from USA to Canada. This is what I had to face. So, it is upto the Canadian customs whether they think your goods should be held by them until you pay Tax or Government duty. If Canadian customs think that your goods are not Taxable or Duty-free, then GPO will directly deliver your goods at your building basement.

Another point, if you do not collect your goods within a certain amount of time (like 3 months) from the day they send you the letter, then they are going to destroy it. After Sept-11, they are a bit strict in keeping goods for too long.

please guide me how many days does it take to get the PR card as i am planning for a temporary landing so will book my flight accordingly

It will take 39 days for you to receive the PR card.

But, I shall still suggest you to take 2 months unpaid leave from office in Dhaka & then get it in the 2 month period. They keep on changing the number of days, so even though they are saying 39 days today, they might say 50 days later on. To be on the safe side take a longer break from office.

Atlast got Emirates tickets from IOM.
Hotel at Transit and baby cots at aircrafts has also been confirmed by Emirates.

Dear Rana bhai and other respected forum members,

I have made a booking with IOM. Now I want to buy the ticket.

Could you please let me know the Bank account details of IOM and the procedure of buying the ticket.

Should I also need to mention them about the hotel at transits while purchasing the ticket ?

2. AOR = acknowledgement of receipt (you get this after CIC confirms all documents received)

4. RPRF = request for permanent residence fee
5. PPR = PassPort request
6. PNW = I have no idea about this (Pacific North-West?? )

At last I reached Toronto on 12/04/13, sorry for coming late for searing my experience. Today I get mobile number & Internet connection $60/mo.
We started 11 April in Dhaka airport immigration officer ask me, how much dollar I carry. I said 2000$ per passport, as I am first time traveller and my ticket was one way may be that's why officer was little bit confused about us send me his boss and his boss talking with his boss with wireless. I explain this officer that I am going to Toronto and come back after receiving my PR card meantime I am staying my uncle's house. You did not believe that two officer by wireless taking about my dress, status and so one. At last I relived form immigration officers with out paying any money.
Emirates service was good. Specially hotel room and breakfast though we stay hotel only two hour.
In Toronto every immigration officer was welcoming us. In Toronto I am saying that I Carry around $ 15000 and officer was welcoming us. We were traveling 3 family together and officer did not say anything to carrying lower dollar what was said in CIC.
In Toronto trip special thanks to Totol and Rana Vai helping me in several times.

I know a friend who was even told by a Dhaka Immigration officials that the Permanent Resident VISA was a fake one "JAL" & asked to give some dollars out of what the family was carrying during their first time entry. Dhaka Immigration officials try to find out all kinds of mistakes in the VISA/paper-work so that you are forced to bribe.

after calling and mailing couple of times, at last, I got the quotation from IOM for 6th June, the same flight u r taking. my heartiest thanks to you for the info.

the fair is quite convincing and before the payment, just asking them some common question and IOM's famous "delay period" started again!! I cant afford the delay this moment and need to buy this one right this moment. can u please help me getting these answers if u know those?

1. If necessary, can I reschedule the ticket? (on payment)?
2. If necessary, can I change the destination after buying the ticket? (on payment)?
