Anyone paid RPRF fees online through CIC website? Is it ok?

Since, your application is at London Visa Office, so please check this out:

The fees accompanying a permanent residence application must be paid using a Bank Draft / Bank Cheque in Canadian dollars.

This office (London Visa Office) does not accept:
* Cash sent by mail or placed in the drop box
* Uncertified personal cheques
* Company cheques
* British pound drafts drawn on foreign banks
* Canadian postal orders
* Euro-cheques
* Credit or debit cards
* Canadian dollar drafts where the “clearing bank” is not in Canada (check with your bank if you are unsure)
* Currency other than Canadian dollars or British pounds

I am facing the same problem.
I talked to my ticket agent and he told me to pay $210 for another package (in Turkish air; for 23 kg).
As it includes the box/carton weight, i will go for fedex. They will charge bdt 18370 for 25 kg. and it will be delivered to canadian add, still guess so this is better option.
If anyone has better suggestion pls let us know.
I am going on 26th of this month.

I gave a post before about cargo. When I came back to Bangladesh, I brought all the household items into a 20ft container. This is huge to load completely I had to add many extra items. For you I strongly recommend to share a 20` container by 2 or 3 families so cost will be very less.
I know one person in this business very professional and honest, PM me to provide his contact details. You may deal with him directly.

You might want to check out GPO (General Post Office). They deliver in about 3 months (send by ship), but the cost is very cheap. You might want to send inexpensive items using GPO. Items that you can send using GPO are like: Kheta, Balish, Hari, Gamla, Balti, Carpet, etc.

Some people even send furniture using GPO, but I suggest you not to transfer furniture, as furniture is cheap over there.

Atlast got Emirates tickets from IOM.
Hotel at Transit and baby cots at aircrafts has also been confirmed by Emirates.

While I tried the following logistics companies and the finding is following:

TnT (Service Centre +88 02 9890430) for 40 KG they quoted 53,465 BDT.
Aramex: (Service Centre 9896511, 02 9896552) for 23 KG they quoted 35,485 BDT.
FedEX is apperently cheapest most for 23 KG with less than 19,000 BDT.

But anyways just remember thing are really cheap in Canada except clothing. You will avail many household items free, from your friends and relatives. Explore backyard sale and garage sale. These would be damn cheap, some are even free. Believe me you should give a second thought for having so much stuff from B'Desh. Its even difficult to shift your stuff while you shift your house there. You need to leave everything behind as labor/ transport are very expensive over there . Everyone leaves everything back, and buy new for new house, which is worth-it.

All the doctors & medical centres mentioned by CIC in their letter take the same set of tests. So, you don't have to do the test before-hand.

Those doctors & medical centres will take those tests that are mentioned by CIC to them.

You can only use your examination results in your application for 12 months from when you had the examination. If you are not admitted to Canada as a permanent resident within this time, you will be required to undergo another examination.

* Medical Report Procedures:
Medical reports and x-rays for the medical examination become the property of the Canadian Immigration Medical Authorities and cannot be returned to you. The doctor will not tell you the results of the medical examination. The doctor will let you know if you have a health-related problem. The Panel Physician does not make the final decision. Citizenship and Immigration Canada will make the final decision on whether or not you have passed your medical examination for immigration purposes. The visa office will tell you in writing if there is a problem with your medical examination.

Don't worry I think they will en-cash your RPRF soon.

I have sent RPRF on 26th Dec and they received on 30th Dec. They processed it on 13th March, 2013.

CIC has to process the cheque within 6 month (not certain though). So, dont worry. Send a CSI if you want!
