Bhai, yesterday and today is hartal university closed. Tomorrow is 29 Friday. I could not manage office staff to fix venue. Can we meet at Bengal cafe dhanmondi 27? They have a nice sitting place where we can have the Adda. Next time Bracu is assured again. Any suggestion is always welcome as usual. 4pm should be okey. Hello Dears,
Hope you are in good health and doing well. Due to my new job I am bit busy for last couple of months and was not able to follow the forum for quite some times. But let me share some updated news with you. On 14th March I received my PPR via e-mail after 4.5 months from MR (MR +Landing Fee send on 5th Nov).Allhamdulillah... And it didn't come to me normally. Mid of Feb my consultant send a mail and fax (general enquiry) to CIC SG. Didn't get any reply. On 13th March I have send the same to CIC SG. On 14th March they replied that they have already sent my PPR with my MR on 18th Oct (I received only the MR in the snail mail envelop), they have received my medical reports but my passport and police clearance is still missing they have also sent an email to my consultant as a reminder on 23rd of Jan that the PP + PC is still outstanding from our end and we should send it ASAP. But that mail has bounced back to them with some errors. they have also informed this email bounce back scenario to my consultant in his 2nd email address on 29th Jan. As they didn't get any reply from my consultant till present time the processing is paused.

I forwarded this email to my consultant, and we searched his both emails accounts but we could not find any related emails in his mail box. Anyway I have sent my passport + PC via VFS on 21st Mar. Keep me and my family in your prayers.

Once, I faced a similar situation with email bouncing back. But, the moment I started using Hotmail or GMail, these problems do not occur.

I just wanna add here that,just check at the province website at where are you going.Cause at every province there are different rules in case of accepting driving licence from back home country.So if you are going to Toronto you are going to need international licence.If you are going to Alberta there is no need of international licence.just they need the original back licence with fully translated..

Hi KFH and other fellow members,

I got an email reply from VFS Bangladesh and they informed me that they only accepts PPs in person. Not from courier servies. So, I decided that if I get my PP request, I will send them by FedEx.

However, one of my close friend lives in Singapore and he said that he can help me in this regard. But he does not know whether any bangladeshi can carry other bangladeshi's passport. I have heard that if I write any authorization, then my friend can submit and collect PPs on my behalf.

And also, can you please inform us how long does it take if someone submits PPs in person. I saw that SGVos time is Tuesday-Thursday from 8-30 to 9-30AM. Will they return on the same day or they will take 2/3 business day!

My updated documents received at SGVo yesterday and my medicals are also received (ecas does not show any date!)
