Yes, you require visa if you need to change terminals. You are allowed to carry a laptop, a camera bag, a purse and a hand luggage (07 Kg) as cabin baggage.
If you are to carry printer/ Scanner you loose your 07 KG allowance. But the issue is in every airport you are bound to go through security checks before boarding
and they get your laptops, purse everything in a separate tray and for you it would be a serious mess and headache. Its not recommended for you. More over the
power supply for Canada is 110 volts totally different than our 240 volts. Why you are planning these to carry along? Probably you can buy cheap from Kijiji or
cgreigslist or e-bay. Regards

Voltage difference is not an issue bcz most laptop's adapter can process voltage range from 100~240v. But the issue is the sockets. In Canada different types of sockets are generally used than in Bangladesh. But the good new that the power cord (from socket to adapter) is available in market for such sockets.

Masallah. We are big a friends group now. . Those who are still interested please feel free to knock us in the given numbers, and its till 4-6 pm Friday. (just simply drop by, and say hello).

We have bought from travel agent. Price is 1,07,000 BDT per person( Dhaka to London by Qatar and London to Calgary by Air Canada). Qatar airways offered me the same but I had to pay some extra for the 2nd luggage. IOM offered 1,20,000 BDT. They said they could only provide discount advantage if the destination is toronto or montreal.

We have consulted some others but apparently it was the best I think.

Onekdin por forum e dhuklam, actually, dom felar time e pacchina.

anyways, bought tickets of Dhaka-Doha-London-Calgary of 19th April, 2013.
Its really sad, IOM couldn't help them who are not going toronto and montreal!!! I paid lesser to the airlines than the IOM offer.

Seniors, Please suggest about the forms to be filled up about goods with us or goods following us.

It would be very nice if we can manage the fridays meeting. I have to shop and have a long list of relatives to meet. Still i'll try to manage. can't even shop due to hartal!!!!!!!

Your parents/ In-laws should have some one already over there with that income range, who are inviting/ sponsoring, right?
Or you guys are sponsoring? As far as I recall, some one with social security number, valid address and that minimum income
(Total family income his+hers) with the insurance is required to avail the super visa.
Can you make clear if I am wrong? Regs

Are you exempted from Canadian TAX for carrying gold ornaments ?

Nearly, all Bangladeshi family has gold ornaments. Is it a good idea for my wife & me to declare them while we are entering Canada, or should we leave them in Bangladesh in a Bank locker?
