Yes possible, a family member could arrive 1 - 2 weeks before the rest of your family. This person could stay in a hotel or hostel for that short period and find appropriate accommodation for the rest of your family.

Thanks Sohel Vai. But, is there a fixed time of taking family, as you have mentioned 1-2 weeks? Is it possible if someone decides to take his family 4-5 months later of his arrival?

Guys just wanted to share, been in toronto from September (well I went to NY for 2 months in december for personal visit). Finally got a permanent job at one of their top banks - $15/h, it starts from 11th March, I get to sit in downtown Toronto office. I would say not a bad start. Hopefully I can move up with time.

I waited for 2 yrs & 8 months for medical request. Most of the other forum members also have the same luck. You are no exception bro. Think of the ppl who applied before Feb 08. They hav been waiting for at least 4 yrs...some hv been waiting for above 6 yrs!!! Let me assure you that your file will move faster than did mine. So just chill & enjoy your present which is a gift from the Almighty!

read the instruction which came along with the passport, as far as i remember, it is possible, look at the passports for the visa expiry date, your family must enter before this date
