Thanks to Allah! Got our PPR (passports request) today afternoon along with Appendix 'A'. ;D
We are very happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

... and again I came up with some questions.
1. Appendix 'A' form jeta diyeche shei copy tai ki patabo fill up kore? ekhane given name, family name, passport info, etc likhte hobe.
2. tk koto kore lagbe per person?
3. 1 ta receipt diyeche 980CAD er eta ki korte hobe?
4. VFS e ki ki niye jete hobe? any advice/comment from you?
5.How would you like to return passport, ei question e ki VFS e tick dibo?

Kalke submit korte chai VFS e. Please pray for us.

Dear all,

Alhamdulillah, I have collected my Passport today from vfs, with the mapple leaf visa. The long waiting journey just finished today. Dua kori, all of you get it soon, who are waiting. You always have been supported me, bear with me, like my friends. Thanks to you all. Hope, this group will last forever. I wish, we will always stand beside each other for any reason or without reason. Pray for me, my wife and my two kids, that we can succeed to win all difficulties ahead. Best of luck to you all.

I have applied with my spouse under NOC 3131 in July 2011. My application was received 25 July 2011. My application started processing by visa office 27 March 2012. I have got medical request 23 NOv 2012. I have done medical december 6 and send others document with fee by December 2012. My medical result has been received by visa office 14 Feb, 2013. I am waiting for passport request. My query to all of you that What the visa office will do if they accept my application. Do they ask me to send passport by email or send me a hard copy of letter? My another query is that me and my spose passport is hand written. so, I I want to change my current hand written passport to MRP ..then what should I have to do. Should I inform them now or when they ask me to submit passport then I will send new MRP passport with a letter by describing the passport change. plz help me

Visa office may send Passport Request (PPR) via e-mail (as attachment of pdf file, their necessary requirement will be there) or by post.

You can change your Passport to MRP with reference to your old passport. You have to do nothing else re. your passport change. When you'll receive you PPR, you will have a form named Appendix A, in which you will have to put your passport information. Just put your MRP passport no., submit to them and thats all. Because MRP contains your old passport reference. Visa office is aware of this. Best of luck.

News Release — Canada Continued to Welcome Highest Sustained Level of Immigration in Canadian History in 2012

Ottawa, February 27, 2013 — For the seventh consecutive year, Canada continued the highest sustained level of immigration in Canadian history, according to preliminary 2012 data released today by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

Canada welcomed 257,515 permanent residents in 2012, well within the Government’s planning range of 240,000 to 265,000 new permanent residents for the year. Each year since 2006, Canada has admitted an average of about a quarter of a million immigrants.

“Canada has been welcoming not only the highest sustained level of immigrants in Canadian history, we also have, on a per-capita basis, among the highest immigration rates in the world,” said Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney. “Immigration is a key part of the government’s plan to grow our economy, spur job creation, and ensure long-term prosperity for all Canadians.”

Over the seven years from 2006 to 2012, Canada averaged approximately 30,250 more admissions per year than in the decade previous, from 1996 to 2005.

“The government is continuing to move toward a modern and effective immigration system that attract the skilled immigrants that Canada’s economy requires,” said Minister Kenney. “This new fast and flexible system will respond more effectively to Canada’s labour market needs, support family reunification, and provide protection to genuine refugees.”
