Can anyone tell what kind of phone can i purchase from here (within reasonable price), which can be used in Canada. Somewhere in this forum i found that only the mobile set models having frequency of GSM850-1900MHz can be used there.

normal GSM phones will work like iphone/motorola razor. Though it needs to be unlocked. If you are buying/bought from Dhaka, it is probably already unlocked.
But as you know by now, the AC/DC adapter wont work there. You will need to buy a 110V charger, which you can buy after going to Canada around $5-10. But keep your bangladeshi charger with you, cause you will need it along the way.

Back to Dhaka friends ....... !!! We had an awesome time in Singapore .. !! Thanks so much everyone who showered us with their good blessings .. My Heartiest Congratulation to those who received their Visa lately ..!! My Special thanks goes to .. mmh93 , Smiling face , Ahmed B , Dr. Tanveer , casayed , rana22april , Colors , ruparupa , Kanamen (he helped with free GCMS) & each and everyone in this forum .. ;D

Most likely there is another session in March as per information of Sonia Sharma. She could not accommodate me in forthcoming session of February in Dhaka. However, she will confirm my participation for March (if takes place) .

So, I think you will get a similar reply from Sonia !
