Most of you don't know my 1st application was returned due to incompleteness(January2011),luckily by this time I found this forum, and more luckily I found Dr.Hasib on this forum, this time he prepared my file ,otherwise I might be still RBVO as I was doing few mistakes again, which was corrected by Dr.HASIB. I am truly grateful to this forum form where I got not only Maple leaf but also a true friend Dr.Hasib, still now who is guiding me even from Canada. ALHAMDULILLAH. Thanx all forum mates who helped me throughout the process and also the founder of the forum who allowed us to help each other .

I forgot to inform one important thing. After getting your tickets from IOM you must go/contact Emirates office (at Gulshan-1) for pre-booking of your hotel accommodation, transport, visa and meal confirmation during stopover at Dubai Airport (if the stopover is longer than 8 hours, or if there is any special promotional offer like 'Dubai connect'). There is allocation of one room/ticket for each adult person. But you must ensure the booking. It can also be done during departure for Dhaka Airport but the Emirates officials encourages pre-booking so that you won't be in trouble later on. You can also choose and book your seat from there. If you need extra baggage you can also know the procedure and cost.

Thanks to everyone of this forum for your warm support.

Dear Padma,

I got an e-mail from SGVO. They asked for medical (with attached form for all family members), police clearance certificate, RPRF and photograph. but they did not send any letter stating the amount (CAD 980) for RPRF, which caused me enough trouble making the draft at Standard Chard Bank. Anyways, i managed to have it and sent all the documents. They received it on 17 January 2013. Now waiting for the passport request. And about your situation, what the other ones are saying is true. Make an email and wait. Let's see what happens.

Accha bhaiya ra, I have a question.

In the Generic Form-IMM008 Page-2, they are asking:

National Identity Document
Do you have a national identity document?
Document Number
Country of Issue
Issue Date
Expiry Date

Now What is our Expiry date??? Apnara National ID card dekhle bujhben, there is no Expiry date!!

:(

any ideas?? How did u guys fill this section?

Solved: Expiry date can be written as 15years from the date of issuance!

Actually our National ID card does not have any expiry date. What I did: I gave a date adding 50 years with the issue date. and wrote below with a * mark (NO EXPIRY DATE).

Dear iamroth,

i kept the expiry date field untouched (as it is) and sent it to SGVO. they accepted it.
