yes , u can process, two files at a time ! if u want , generally while check the on line status , it will mostly show the old file status. There were improvement in the GCMS system , lets see what it does ! But if u r a mi-2,3 applicant , it is better to wait. this year and last year , svo mostly process the MI-1 applicant. i believe the visa quota 1700 is almost or already exhaust. coming new financial year will start from june 2013. new visa quota will be issued for SVO , by this time or prior 2/3 months before issued new visa quota , svo will start processing M_2,3 files in full swing. so wait for that movement , in this time-frame even if u filed a new case , it will not get the movement , it will sit idle in the system. i believe this will help u and lot of others member of the forum. Also since long we are listening that , CIC will start a new point system once they clear the backlog!! so wait is the better option! also new file does not guarantee faster processing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
