Hi Every One
So Many New people came to Canada. Congratulations every one. I am Back means I m back to forum. I live in West side of Toronto .Near Islington Subeway. It is the border area of Toronto and Missisaga. .Some sharings to all new cammers as per my experience.I m fine now. Me and my wife earning $3000 and Chield benifit GHT all together $4000. So Alhamdulillah.

Planing to buy House with in 2014.BAkita Allahr Issa.
New Commers please try to start a new begening in toronto.
Dont start Study after landing by taking loan from Govement.
After Landing Try to find any job and at list work 25 hours in a week.So that your living cost will be covered.
Try to start in a basement or 1 bedroom appartment so that you can servive with in1000 to 1300.
Then Earn some invironmental experience.In canada all jobs are known as job.Remember it is a country of 100% educated people.So all people are doing all jobs.Don't make classification odd job, good job or bad job.Keep head on the living cost is high.
Befor buy car take all information. Insurance is minimum $250 every month.PArking charge in GTA is expensive.SO take information. MAny Bangali Tout Batpar will be all arround you so be safe.Insurance er dalal der theke sabdhan. Was reading post regularly, but unable to reply as was busy with my friends to help him buying stuff as well as managing household groceries. Also bought a Black Honda Civic 2002 with CAD 2,189 only from auction through a friend of mine. Grateful to him as he drove the car to Brampton all the way from Toronto and hand over me the car. If anybody willing to buy car with cheap rate please let me know. I'll tell him to find something for you. But words of Wisdom for Driving License if anybody has Bangladesh License in English you can appear G road test after passing G1 but your license have to be verified by Bangladesh High Commission in Ottawa and they need to issue a certificate. And please never ever go for road test in GTA (Greater Toronto Area). Even though you are good driver but they will fail you as there are limited quota for Driving license in Toronto. So please appear for road test outside of Toronto like Guelph, Kitchener, Hamilton, Waterloo, Modak, Barrie, St. Catheren etc.

I don't agree with Tosher "Dont start Study after landing by taking loan from Govement". You should get OSAP at the first phase if you are eligible to get admitted to the university you and should take that chance of getting University degree in first phase after coming to Canada. OSAP will cover all your expenses of house, food, accommodation etc even though and you and your spouse doesn't have job but you can be well furnish with that amount+Child Benefit is there. Once you are local graduate finding Jobs will be easier for you. Whether you will be doing odd job or good job is depends on you how smartly you are able to find jobs. So be positive, think positive and be confident. I know many people coming to Canada for the first time but they got Professional job at the first phase. So Nothing is Impossible. Have faith on Almighty Allah. Hope for the best, but ready for the worst.

I agree with Tosher about fraud bengali people and living in Danforth and Scarborough area. I myself don't like my child to grow up in those areas. I lived in Kingstone road which is close to Markham and Lawrence back in 2001 but didn't find suitable to live there with family and raise kids over there. There are many uneducated bengali families who will be instigating you and suggest wrongful stuff. But please don't consider my suggestion as the last one. Stay wherever you feel comfortable. As I told you earlier listen to all but decision is yours.

Nothing much today...Happy thing is All the Snows are gone by 8 degree centigrade today..weather is nice here but windy...Wish you all keep good with the bless of almighty Allah...

Thank you vi. Its really good post. I have a plan to get admission in University, after getting a degree then search for my profession related job. Before that I have to get visa, Only Allah knows when I get it.

What do they mean by temporary resident cases?


has anyone have the same tracking information on the 1st day of submission?

Doesn't Matter!!! However, please check with VFS Helpline, if you have any doubt? It is better to get well clarified.

Processing Time These are average processing times only after receiving the Application at High Commission of Canada in Singapore from VFS Dhaka
For Temporary Residents (visitors) and Students if the Applications are submitted at VFS, Dhaka on:

Visitor : 14 Days plus transit time

Study Permit : 45 Days plus transit time

Temporary work Permit : 45 Days plus transit time

Travel Documents for Permanent Residents : 14 Days plus transit time

Lot of MR and RPRF reached in December, seems that there will be PPR raining in this month. As per my assumption we can expect the PPR to start from end of this month.
