Thanks Brother for your valuable information..one more thing if i completed the form and send to my friend address who will attach cheque and his address.is it convenient for me?

Sure and that is best way. Even you can save courier charge as well. However, you need to send photo and copy of your passport, your staying address(s) in the UK.

Helpful and encouraging post taken from another thread. Who are going to move soon to Canada may follow the way suggested here.

Well my story is quite different and might not apply to a lot of people, but I think the "do not come to Canada" threads are unnecessary and based on people that had bad experiences.

You read all the time that Canada does not value international education and credentials (including US degrees) but for me it was quite the opposite, I got a job on my first resume I sent, prior even having my passport back and within a week. For me (emphasis added) Canada seems to be an amazing land of opportunity.

So what was my recipe for success (if you want to call it that)? Dedication, research and preparing yourself for the challenge.

I started looking at employers in my job field almost a year before getting my Visa. I was very organized and created a list of the ones that where of interest. After my research, I targeted my resume to the exact employer I wanted to work for and given my hard work and dedication I got a call the very next day I sent my resume for an interview. I spent many days preparing for my interview and doing mock-ops with colleagues and friends. I had a "study guide" with possible Q&A's I might get. Obviously, I did not get any of the questions I prepared for, however I went very confident into the interview because of all the preparation I had done.

It is an arduous task to find a job in a new country and overall I just think that people should be prepared, work hard, and not give up. You can send a million resume's and become a resume spammer or really target your resume and effort for what you really want. Do your work, study your industry and then strategically decide where you should apply. But most importantly, start early!

Good luck to everyone and never loose hope!

Rod

Dear Members,

Can I use 2 IELTS result to get max points for different modules in FSWP application? I have scored Listening:5.5 in first IELTS exam, but in my 2nd IELTS exam Reading score is 5.5, so, can i claim 6 for both Listening and Reading by submitting both result paper.

Thanking U//suman

Dear Seniors,

Help me understanding the below points :

Personal Net Worth Statement: Page 2

[1] Current & Savings Account: [2] Fixed Deposits

I have a Saving account and a FDR which were combined to show as PoF during application : FDR had 3 months maturity period initially & since then it has been auto renewing after every three months. So, what to write in "Maturity Date column". Next Maturity date ?

[3] Property : Page 2

On the 1st page, Personal Net Worth Statement, 5th Para, it is clearly written "Do not submit property deeds and valuations"
So, how to deal with this table, my self declaration of Market value of Land is enough? Pls confirm !

* "This table also says, Current Property evaluations must be provided at interview".......but my interview has already been waived.

[4] Stocks, Shares, Bonds and Trading commodities:

* What about Gold/ornaments of my wife (Trading commodity)? Can I show it as my PNWS?
* Is this PNWS meant for assessing Principal Applicants total assets & liabilities only? Seems yes, if I read 1st page & 1st para of PNWS.
* or, is it meant for Principal Applicant's as well as his spouse's PNWS? seems No.

If PNWS is only meant for Principal Applicant, then I should not show any current assets (cash) & Fixed assets (land, property & jewelery) of my wife.

Another Question:

Is it better to show more Current Assets & Fixed Assets or something close to initially declared amount during application?

Suman,

NO. This is not acceptable to CIC. anyone struggling with English language forget about Canada. Canada is not for you.

Thanks.

I don't think your wife's ornaments would count. Gold bars are international trading commodity, but not gold ornaments. you can list their values only if its worth has been certified and varified by a Canadian accredited specialist
