If I am not wrong in machine readable passport there is no present address....only permanent address is mentioned at machine readable passport.

You are right .. There is only permanent address . I don't know why in the world they don't add present address in the book . Its so irritating since I also wrote my present address as my mailing address and residence address in the Immi form . Handwritten passport had present address too .

So far i know, permanent address cant be changed.
As my present add changed 2 times during this procedure.
Then i wanted to change also my permanent add; but they told it was not possible.
And one thing it is better to change add in passport; though it gives hassle for one day, no doubt; but better for smooth running rest of the things.

I changed my permanent address last year. Documents required voter ID, birth cert, electricity, telephone or gas bill or deed of the house or flat to attach with the application. Fees TK 500.- and usually takes 1 to 3 days.

Finally, after 36 months from initial applicaton, I got my COPR and Visa!!

PPR came 21 Aug 2012 and PP submitted on 31 Aug 2012, but they suddenly asked for updated SG PCC on 2 Sep 2012, causing another month of delay!

It's understandable as the previous SG PCC was over 2 years old. I just wonder why they didn't request together with MR. I think they only discovered that something was missing during the final check before issuing Visa.

Lesson: they can still ask for documents even after PPR, so beware!

Visa: 26 Oct 2012 (called me to collect on 29 Oct, Ecas changed to "Decision Made" on 30 Oct, no "medical received" shown till now)
