My consultant just now, emailed my MR docs. scanned. It's sent on dated 09.10.2012 (letter date). I will get it after eid. Interview waived. Additional docs: Police clearance, Personal net worth statement, Current bank statement, Other evidence of fund & personal assets, Right of Permanent Residence fees.

Now, kindly immediately let me know, how to get Police clearance. I forgot, what i did last time.

Dear pr1979:

Police Clearance certificate is required for the applicants, spouse & dependents - age 18 years or older

Please do the followings: -
1. Get the Police Clearance Application form DMP website
2. Fill the form (according to the applicant's passport)
3. Deposit BDT 500/= for each applicant (above 18 years) at Bangladesh Bank/Sonali Bank through Treasury Challan
4. Make Photocopy of the passport (including any amendment page) and have attestation
5. Submit all the above dox to DMP Commissioner's Office, if you are residing within Dhaka

Officially it will take 7 working days to obtain the PCR

Hope this information will be useful to you.

Thanks,

mthjay

Dear All:
Please share your thought about below.
We are seeing that the docs requested by SGVO in MR differs from applicant to applicant. Some applicants are asked only PCC and RPRF. Some of them PCC,RPRF, Background Declaration, Updated IMM5669 and in some cases Bank Statement, net worth etc.

SVO asked me to submit PCC + RPRF; But did not ask me to submit Bank Statement and net worth...

Thanks, useful information indeed. one of my friend was telling me that if you show more wealth before going abroad it has both advantage and disadvantage.
Advantage:
1. Later you can transfer all this wealth to canada without any hassle.
Disadvantage
If you are wealthy then you may not get social benefit being wealthy.

So when showing the wealth statement one must analyze their own position and future plans before providing this information.

Hi beximco:

You have pointed out a good issue/observation, context to the present situation.

Very good!

Always welcome brother,
As my consultant informed me, if we avail "social benefit" we might loose our eligibility to sponsor our family members in future...

For those planning to buy property:
If we have enough wealth to bring with us, we may use them for purchasing house (can pay 10-40% of the property value) which may reduce the monthly installment and subsequently ease burden on your monthly income...

(though we might have to start with an observation period before spending money on anything)
