Immigration is vital to Canada’s population growth and economic prosperity. Yet, while demand for their skills grows, many highly competent newcomers to Canada remain underemployed.

To address this problem, the Government of Canada funded the Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC) to develop and implement the Canadian Immigrant Integration Program (CIIP) which prepares newcomers for economic integration while still in their country of origin. Launched as a pilot project in 2007, CIIP is now a three-year program (2010-2013) that is funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).

CIIP provides free pre-departure orientation to Federal Skilled Workers, Provincial Nominees, their spouses and adult dependents, while they are still overseas during the final stages of the immigration process.

CIIP helps immigrants prepare for economic success by providing information, planning and online support through partners in Canada.

Thanks for replying Badal bhai. I'm worried about the time lapses since SVO is supposed to send MR to my consultant & then he will send it to me! Why don't they rather send MR thru email?

Ask your consultant to send you first scanned copy. Make sure if they will send by courier or mail from Canada to you. If not by courier then better you go to any courier, open a new account if you do not have already one then send the account no. to your consultant enabling them to send by courier using your account no. and you will pay here. That charge is little bit more but you will save time.

Since I have applied through Consultant, they surely send the dox to them directly. My 2nd AOR date is 15.10.2010. I sent all documents to SVO in Feb/11. My consultant lives in Canada. Sometime, he comes in BD. I already mailed them to keep an eye on my MR from SVO, and immediately let me know, if it is received by them.

Q3. Is there any reason why I wouldn't get my fees returned?
The new law affects FSW applicants who applied before February 27, 2008, did not have a decision based on selection criteria before March 29, 2012, and whose cases were not finalized by June 29, 2012. If an immigration officer refused your application before the law came into force on June 29, 2012, you will not get your money back.
