Anybody any idea?

I'm not sure though. If u need to pay more than that u can take Bank draft/order/some thing like that. The best option is to consult with your relationship manager (If u have SC account). if u don't i would suggest u to visit dhanmondi 2 branch of SC for their suggestion or call the call center of SC. Definately if there is any option they can suggest u.

plz let us know if u can find a way!!

Important notes about Visa and Passport validity

You should ensure that everyone in your family has a passport valid for a minimum of 12 months from the date of the most recent full medical examination. Visas can only be issued to a maximum validity of 12 months from the date of the medical examination. (If your family has medical examinations on different dates, the validity of your visas will be 12 months from the date of the first medical examination). However, if any one of your passports expire before 12 months from the date of the medical examination, your visas will expire on the date of the first passport to expire. If your passports are due to expire, it is in your interest to obtain new or updated passports to ensure your visas are issued with maximum validity.

When have you completed your medical exam?

I contacted my RO in SCB, Sylhet. He informed me that I can take usd 5000 in total, whatever the forms are(draft or tc). Those landing with family can also endorse their fam. members' pp . Problem is, I'm single. To the best of my knowledge, Dr. Hasib also was single. I sent him a pm and waiting for his feedback. Will let u know and please let me know if any way is there. Thanks

Apply for MRP urgently or you will get visa valid upto June 2013 instead of July 31, 2013 (one yr from medical).

Hi,
It's almost two and a half months since you sent your doc. Did you make any inquiry to know the latest situation of your file?
In my case it's about 2 months over (Med done-15/07/12 and documents were sent on 17/07/12 and received by SVO on 19/07/12). One of my friends sent doc 2 weeks after mine and he got PPR on around 27th August. What's happening with our files I don't understand. Did they find any gap or mistakes? Or are they still checking my papers????

Ahmed B
Dear Ahmmed B,

Don't worry bro..We will get our PPR soon. My recent time line of Med exam, date of sending RPRF, PC and date of received docs is same as you. Still no PPR...No change in ecas status.

Are you going to attend in CIIP Program on 18th Sep?

They mentioned in my letter that they would contact me approximately after 90 days from the day they receive my medical report from DMP. A time-length of 76 days is withing their pre-set timeframe. They might respond sooner in some cases but normally, we should wait for about 3 months before making an enquiry.

From the date of Medical, one year. I am sharing this from London VO - one of my friends recently got this through e-mail. But I believe this specification should be identical for ALL VO.

Passport Specifications

If any of the passports submitted do not meet the following specifications, all passports will be returned to you without visas. This delay will shorten the amount of time that you will have to travel to Canada to become a permanent resident.

1. All names and dates of birth must be printed in each passport in English or French.

2. The given name (first name) of the passport-holder must be clearly printed on the Given Name line of the biodata page of each passport. The surname (last name) of the passport-holder must be clearly printed on the Surname line of the biodata page of each passport. They should match your Updated Information Chart.

3. Your spouse must have their own passport. Your accompanying children should also each have their own passports.

4. Each passport must have at least two empty pages.

5. For your visas to have maximum validity, all passports should be valid for at least 12 months from the date of your medical examinations.

6. All passports must be intact and not worn, torn or otherwise damaged; the laminate on the biodata page must be securely attached. Each page must be securely affixed to the passport; there cannot be any loose pages. Ordinary passports are the only type of passport into which a permanent resident visa may be inserted. Diplomatic, official, special or other similar types of passports are NOT acceptable.

It is Bangladesh Bank rule that any Bangladeshi can take usd5000(usd2000 cash and 3000 draft) for travel purpose except SAARK countries with valid visa and return air ticket. The people who got residence permit are not entitle to take usd5000 with them. They are entitle to take usd2500(half of travel quota) per passport. So the single person can take only usd2500 with him. very rude rule for immigrants.
