Dear Forum members,
Alhamdulillah! I have recieved immigration visa on 6th September. Our pp were submitted in Singapore visa office (in person) on 4th September. On the third day, we got pp and our transcripts in hand. As I was busy at work, my spouse did the whole thing on my behalf, only an authorisation letter had to be attached with the submission in this case. All the best wishes to you. May all of your dreams come true.
Ochena
Congrats friend, when will u fly for Canada? Wish a successful future in Canada

In which hotel did you stay when you travelled to Singapore for visa stamping and how much did it cost? Also which airline did you travel?
Please provide some info so that those who are planning to travel can get an idea. Thanks!

Hello Seniors,

I need your advices. We are waiting for our medical and on august 28th we sent a CSI and got reply to wait 6 to 9 months to get MR. In this situation, should we plan for our first baby now as my wife is already 30 and we don't want to wait any more.

Now my Question is what should I do if my wife gets pregnant before MR!

1.Should I inform SGVO about her pregnancy?

2. As per their reply we have another 1 year in our hand so can we land after delivery of the child?

3.I heard from other forum that if we want to include our new born before our landing we have to pay our fees again and also submit our new application.

Please help me in this regard.

Dear Qorax,

I sent a cse this morning, with in two hours I got a reply. My enquiry was about the medical results received line but in reply, they sent me the following "please provide an explanation for a gap in your personal history, between march 2006 and September, 2006. Yes, I failed to mention the gap year I took before I went to uni. However, it was ten years ago so I didn't have to mention it anyway. I've been given 15 days to respond. However, there is still no third line and I got no direct answer to my question. What do you reckon ? Many thanks in advance.

Q: why not ask the pre 2008 applicants to provide IELTS & educational assessment results instead of returning their applications.

Jason Kenny : By returning pre-2008 applications we'll be able to clear our backlog by 2014, after which we'll have a fast, responsive system.

Q : if all occupations are open to apply & no cap also under new FSWC, Will it not flood the new system again with applications?

Jason Kenny : Correct. That's why there will be a cap on the number of new applications accepted when we re-open the FSWP.

After Medical Request, they are still checking the history. Strange!

i thought JK was supposed to clear the backlog by 2012 and from 2013 he was gonna introduce a fast, responsive system
