About IELTS: Do they accept Academic ? Cause I've heard people got away with Academic result if its within a year during application lodgement. However., their website specifically says: IELTS-General Training only.

Has anyone here succeeded by supplying Academic version?

it is a serious issue, be 100% sure on this. although academic is tougher but since it is clearly written that CIC wants GT, you should do more research on this issue

Really do not know which way to go, just rechecked the page, and found out the information there describes the old system, the way they distributed the points, it is from previous benchmark. Whereas I heard they are overhauling everything resembling AUS and NZ systems where BOTH types of IELTS are accepted.

May be should wait for few more months ...... anyone having any other thoughts ?????
