Dear Beximco,

In my case I collected the MRP for me & my family though having validity till 2015 and sent copy to VO office with a cover letter. VO received it 6 days before issueing our medical request. So I think u can collect new PP now and send copy to VO with a cover letter as it will take couple of months more to get/complete (but wish u get it today)the medicals and ur wifes PP expiry date will be closer. We did our medical using new MRP. Hope this will clear ur confussion.

Yeah, agree wid Hoque bhai. It's best to convert to MRP before visa stamping. You'll be safe in all respects.

actually tk.4000 is per person. so if you are 3 in a family, you'll need tk.12000

Dear Jamal bhai,

VFS treat each person (each passport) as applicant for any types of visa. So if you have any dependent, they are also visa applicant. So the amount will be BDT 4000 X number of passport.

I registered at CIIP a month ago and since then I have been receiving email notifications for sessions at different Indian cities. I think when 20-25 will be registered from BD they will arrange a session in Dhaka.

For get together: Tokhon vai, plz initiate the process.

Hi All

Few days back i checked the CIIP site for registration. ANd i found it requires to disclose personal immig info. So is it ok to register like this way, or there is other way to register without sharing personal immig info. So I am not sure whether it will be ok.

Important notes about Visa and Passport validity

You should ensure that everyone in your family has a passport valid for a minimum of 12 months from the date of the most recent full medical examination. Visas can only be issued to a maximum validity of 12 months from the date of the medical examination. (If your family has medical examinations on different dates, the validity of your visas will be 12 months from the date of the first medical examination). However, if any one of your passports expire before 12 months from the date of the medical examination, your visas will expire on the date of the first passport to expire. If your passports are due to expire, it is in your interest to obtain new or updated passports to ensure your visas are issued with maximum validity.
