Few days back our forum members were worried "How to send passport to VO?"
for them I would like to share 1 important news that nothing to worry because we can drop our passport to VFS office (locate in Dhaka, Chittagong or Sylhet office). Its clearly mentioned in my PPR form. Also we can collect Visa Stamp from Singapore VO by person where they require 3 business days. Hope this will help other forum members so feel to share.

Jahangir vai thanks for shareing, and pray for us for positive result

I called VFS today to have a clear idea about sending and receiving the passport back from SVO through them. They said that they could do that for us but they are unable to put any date on the receipt as to when they will be able to get the passport back from SVO and return it to us.

We know that if we are able to travel to Singapore and collect the passport in person, it will take only three business days. So, can anybody please suggest me what would be the cheapest way(including a return ticket, accommodation and food) to travel to Singapore for a week ? Also, once we submit the passport to SVO, we will be without a passport on Singapore soil. What might be the consequences for this and how to overcome the problem, if any, before we fall into one? Thanks.

my personal opinion is stay with VFS (usually it doesn't take more than 1 month)

through register post

Jahangir

I was wondering did you provide your email address to SVO. If you would provide your email address and SVO sent PPR by registered mail, that means SVO is still in the dark age. The visa offices of North America usually email for PPR.

Congratulations Jahangir and Shariar_sumon ! :D

I am agree with you scorpion_ca 100%. Jahangir could you please explain whether you provide your email address for SVO or not? It is quite strange since SVO works very well with email system.

nothing to do, SVO issues postal mail for PPR. SVO has our email addresses.

BUT they send postal mail, so please no confusion/argument over this issue as it's up to them, you and me nothing can do!!

But there is still confusion since sending PPR through postal service is a new issue. As far as I know, so far SVO has sent PPRs through email service. There should be a reason behind that it might be case-specific. So we are asking about it to find out what the truth is.

Thanks
