Request for suggestion/advice

Dear all,

I am very glad to find such a discussion forum where we all are originated from the same place, our beloved country " Bangladesh". First I would like to appreciate those who took initiatives to arrange such a discussion forum. Well, now I would like to request to request you to suggest/advice me considering my case for PR application.I applied PR under FSW on July 2007 at singapore CHC. That time I was staying in Japan for my PhD course. I did my PhD on March 2008 and before going back to my home country (Bangladesh) I requested CHC singapore to change my mailing address. They chaged my application upon my request. Now, again I returned to Japan on June 2008 for Postdoc and currently residing in Japan. However, this time I did not request them to change my address again. In addition I scored IELTS from British council, Tokyo on March 2009. So, basically there are three changes in case of me : 1) Address 2) Educational qualification 3) IELTS test results.

Now can anybody suggest me whether I should inform CHC singapore about these changes. I heard, frequent chage in mailing address would result delayed processing.

Any advice/suggestions in this regard will be highly appreciated.

With regards,

Eusufzai

Hello Eusufzai,

I strongly suggest that you inform the Singapore visa office about your changes immediately. Frequent changes in mailing address would not necessarily result in delayed processing. On the contrary, missing documents and/or incorrect address would cause months of delays. You have to inform them before they begin processing your file.

If you visit trackitt.com and check the timeline of Federal Skilled Worker applicants at the Singapore visa office, you'll notice that currently 2006 applications are being processed (trackitt.com/canada-immigration-trackers/discuss/federal-skilled-workers/1569). I suggest you add your timeline too so that others can learn from your timeline as well, unless of course, you already are on Trackitt.com with a different user name (not Eusufzai).

Regards.

Dear P2D2,

Thanks for your valuable advice. I wonder how should I inform CIC, singapore about these changes. Should i use specific case inquery online application form or I should follow written communication.

Any further assistance will be gratefully acknowledge.

Thanks and regards,

Eusufzai

Dear Eusufzai,

If you are going to remain in Japan for one year or longer, I would suggest that you write a letter to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in Singapore and inform them of your new mailing address. You will also need to send them certified copies of your recent educational qualifications together with the original transcripts in university sealed envelopes. If you have not submitted any IELTS results as yet, you will also have to send them original 'General IELTS' results from the British Council in Tokyo. They do not accept 'Academic IELTS' results for immigration purposes.

More detailed information can be found at the Canadian Government's immigration website www.cic.gc.ca, which also has downloadable pdf files. You ought to read the 'Guide for Federal Skilled Workers' and the 'Singapore Visa Office Specific Information' files to clarify any misunderstanding that you might have.

Regards.

Dear all members

CIO asked me to submit the complete application to my local CHC office. Before to submit I want to make me clear about something. If u share your valuable comment I would appreciate-

1. 120 days counted from when? Is it from AOR date ? CIO emailed me dated 2 Nov.
2. How to know, how much point they have calculated for me? This is bcoz in my initial application I mentioned that I have basic proficiency in French. I have undergone French language course at Alliance de France at Ctg and completed only 1 term. But right now no proof/doc with me. I am pretty sure that without this second language point I can claim 67 point. But how to know?
How long back dated notarized copy of docs are acceptable? My docs are notarized dated June 09. Is it Ok?

Cheers

Hi

Just few minutes ago I heard that some one else from Bangladesh who submitted the File after me (sent 19th August received at NS on 26th by FEDEX) got the AOR through E-mail. I am pretty confused about our file; would that be rejected and thats why they are not sending any AOR through E-mail or by Post???

What should i do now?

One question: What is the evidence you all had provided for your work experience in Bangladesh? Employee reference is one, but what about Tax return paper, pay stub? Like we all know that in BD, we dont maintain those all that much. We do file income tax, but will that be enough?

How we are proving that we actually worked, got paid for and paid tax on them??

For Dhaka residents it is the DMP Headquarters at Minto Road near Ramna Thana. Should not take more than 7 working days.
