so it is not clear , should we buy it from our country or buy it from Canada. if this 2$ voltage converter works , then we can buy it from Bangladesh. i think in Bangladesh it is cheaper compare to Canada. do u think this chinease product will create an issue during customs clearance due to copy right act?

if u have laptop or other valuable electronic staff, bring those. they will work here. only u need a plaque (in CA different size) which will cost $ 2-5 or an universal adapter cost around $ 2-25. u can buy those in CA. u will not get those thing at BD. try to maintain all rules at BD Air port thought most of the time they dont check thoroughly. but be safe from BD custom people.

Have all of you received MR already??? Why is there no sound from any anticipants? naki shobai MR peye amaderke bhule gesen? ;)

I recommend to buy electronic items from Canada. Quality is much better there. Even two months ago I purchased a laptop from there costed me $ 442.00

Before buying the converter, try to read the power adapter of your laptop. Most of the laptops are being made for universal use for the last couple of years. If the adapter says 110V - 230V input, you can use it anywhere in the world. I bought my laptop from Canada in 2007 and I used that laptop while I was in BD in 2011 without any converter or problem.

Hello there,
Congrats !!
think you can request your employer to issue another appointment letter where they would add an extra line >> from the month of ....... the salary would be .......... and %tax would apply form ( date) as per Bangladesh Board of revenue.
i know how hard to make our employer's understand but try your level best to make them understand that its just a letter for the purpose of immigration. you will not use it to push them in trouble. its just a help!
Secondly , you can request the HR to make you pay slips , Its not a rocket science. if they unable to make it , please let me know , i have made my pay slip form a CA firm in London. i faced the same problem, so i informed my employer and made it. that been authorized by the accountant .
Good luck

Thanks for your nice comment. I am thinking to send the following documents:
1. my original appointment letter showing the salary+allowance etc...
2. A letter from the office showing the salary amount was directly sent to the bank account XXXXX and also mentioning that this salary is below taxable amount according to Bangladesh law (Act:XXXX)
3. An extract from the bank from the start of my job where it can be found each month my salary was getting in.
Please let me know how you think?

Dear friends,

Who has not made the draft yet please go to Gulshan Branch but not to any other branches bcz the ones in dhanmondi (road-2 and beside Labaid), they makes unnecessary hassles. Those who have done this in Gulshan branch the process was comfortable. Pl take this documents with you when you go to the bank

1. Photocopy of Nikkahnama, passport, medical doc, RDRF request, medical money receipt and 2 page generic form
2. Taka 84700-85000 for two persons.

thanx

Dear Respected Forum Members Received MR & Expecting MR/MR+PPR,
As you fine people know, I communicated with CIIP, India, I wanted to share the “communication” with you all. Following are the e-mails as it is:

1st mail Sent:
Dear Sir,
We 34 Bangladeshi Federal Skilled Worker Immigration Aspirants to Canada, received Medical Request so far. Some of us already done our Medicals in DMP's office. A good number of aspirants are expecting to receive Medical Request shortly from Singapore Visa Office.
We would like to request you to arrange an orientation program in Bangladesh soon.
We express our interest and expect your respond soon.
Best Regards,
Rehman.
Reply from CIIP:
Hi
Thanks for writing to CIIP. That's great to hear that we have so many eligible federal skilled workers waiting to attend the valuable session of CIIP. We can only decide to come there when we have at least 20- 25 people in our pending list but I am afraid we just have 2 - 3 which is not sufficient at all. So Please register on our website as soon as possible. Our July and August schedule is filling up soon.So please hurry up.
All the best!
Thanks
Sonia
My Reply to CIIP:
Dear Sonia,
Hi.
Thank you for your prompt reply. I am trying to explain the VALUE of attending - as you rightly said "valuable session of CIIP" to our forum members and encourage them to register with newcomersuccess.ca for a really valuable CIIP session in Dhaka.
Since, as I said you earlier, a good number of aspirants are in queue to receive MR from SGVO, on behalf of them I wanted to know three issues as follows:
No. 1. What is the minimum number of registrations (participants) you need to arrange a session in Dhaka in terms of your budget or norms?
No. 2 What is the maximum number of registrations (participants) you can arrange/afford in a single session in Dhaka?
No. 3 How frequent you can arrange sessions like this?
If possible you can call me at my mobile number written just below my name
Best regards.
Rehman.
THE LAST REPLY FROM CIIP:
Hi
Many thanks for writing.
We need to have at least 15 - 20 people, and there is no limit to the numbers. The more the better.
Our visit to Bangladesh depends upon the numbers there. If we have atleast 15- 20 people after every one month or so. We will go.
Please revert if any doubts.
Thanks
Sonia

Now, since some of our respected Forum members are yet to receive MR/MR+PPR, and if we wait for some more days, there are chances to have 30 – 40 members to register with CIIP in two or more different sessions. OR We can arrange one session comprised with maximum number of members registered.
It all depends upon the collective opinion of the respected forum members.
I think, we should go for two sessions, because,
No. 1 : If someone miss in the first session, he/she can attend the 2nd one or the next one.
No. 2 : In the mean time if some more MR/MR+PPR comes, they can attend the 2nd one or the next one.
No. 3 : After 1st Session, rest of us will be well equipped to exploit their (CIIP, India) service more accurately.
Rather we can concentrate on a get together.
Remember, Get Together is an issue open to all interested respected forum members or silent readers of the forum. It is in no way restricted to the MR recipients or those are expecting MR shortly.
Ekhon apnara bolen, ki kora jay, ki bhabe kora jay.
Dua for all.
