seniors, need ur advice.
my wife recenty passed BBS (pass)(private) exam and secured 2nd class.
can i claim points for that? if so, what documents should i provide to visa office as it will take time to get original marksheet & certificate.

thanks,

Even if you do not need additional points, still you must submit the copy of certificate and mark sheet with notary public. This will help to give good impression about your adaptability, this will help for your back ground check. I heard from a friend that his brother in law was rejected because he could not provide satisfactory answer and proof how he spent two years after completed his study. This certificate will help in that way also.
Take time, collect first papers and then submit all together.

NKSHUMON

Sorry, no idea. Regrets

Teaspoon already shared the matter with me over mobile. Its not impossible at all as it is true that the number of applicants in SGVO is huge whereas budget is very poor. SGVO better knows where shall they use their budget. Its wise to stay cool and wait as we are playing waiting game for a long time. Champion hole khoti ki? lol

I didn't claim any point from my spouse. On application (schedule 1 for spouse), I mentioned all the educational details including incomplete hons. session, education gap and currently studying BBS.
Now I should inform visa office that she has completed the degree.

Also I didn't provide any document for my wife other than marriage & birth certificate.

Question is-can i claim additional point for her BBS (private) certification, if so then what docs should i provide to visa office. I'm not sure marksheet and certificate will be available or not from National University of Bangladesh as the rusult has published recently.

regards,
ibrahim

Until you send the proper educational docs you cannot claim any point. You must draw provisional transcript &/or mark sheet + certificates. Talk with the college authority at first, then they might ask you to go to NU. Its possible.

I am giving you the list of the docs you need to send but skip the things which you already sent:

Forms:

(a) Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008)
(b) Schedule A: Background/ Declaration [IMM 5669] Completed by Principal Applicant and Spouse.
(c) Additional Family Information [IMM 5406] E-Completed by the Principal Applicant & the Spouse.
(d) Schedule 3_Economic classes imm0008_3e
(e) Supplementary Information - Your travels [IMM 5562]
(f) Fee Payment Form – Application for Permanent Residence – Federal Skilled Worker [IMM 5620]

Documents of the Spouse:

1. Certificate of marriage (notarized), Nikahnama, if any
2. Passport copy of spouse (Notarized)
3 Birth certificate copy of spouse translated (if not in English) and notarized.
4. 6 copies photographs of spouse as per photo specification write name, DOB and date of photo taken on the back side of 5 photographs and keep 1 blank.
5. Application fee of spouse via Bank Draft
6. Spouse's educational certificates and transcripts (original for graduate level) and mark sheets.
7. National ID of Spouse, translated (if not in English) and notarized
8. Send any other things changes after you sent full docs, If any.

I really hope you are wrong, but the question is..... Which VO managed to make sometime out to call you and share this info?
We all are busy sharing all the guesses we can guess. Its like foreign policy of USA...all in guesses

Please check the budget and take a look at the news, and the Canadians feelings towards immigrants. Also notice the closure of CHC like Kuala Lumpur, Damascus, Dhaka. Then notice that London VO is giving out letters to MI-2 people informing them to wait another 6-8 months and MI-1 applicants, are informed to wait 6-12 months. Then notice the past usual scenario, where people who got IP with date got their MR shortly afterwards. Do you see any of that happening now to MI-1 applicants? Where is their MR? Only few people from MI-3 got their visas, the rest of them are in IP (without date) stage. MI-2 is even worse. They don't even have IP...waiting and waiting in RBVO. Now Singapore also has to process Kuala Lumpur cases. Not to mention pre feb 2008 applications, whose cases didn't meet selection decision were almost sent back home. All this doesn't look very promising. It is not a structured organized way of processing.

I have friends who applied in MI-1 catagory who deserve their MR today. Unfortunately other than waiting, hoping, praying and guessing there is nothing else to do. If there was a chart to rate visa offices, Singapore VO should be rated the lowest. I believe all the SVO applicants will agree with me when I say Singapore Visa Office is Bullshi*

You can get it corrected at National ID office located at the Islamic Foundation Building. Agargaon, Dhaka
Islamic Foundation Building is behind IDB bhaban.
You have to fill a form, surrender your spouse's misspelled NID card and you will have to provide photocopies of passport, SSC HSC certificate, in which the spelling is correct.
