yes, you the answer to this question will be 'no' if your friend is the requester. In this case, you will also have to submit a signed letter of 'consent to release the information' to your friend i.e you are authorising your friend to receive information on your behalf.

Thanks mmh93... Thanks everybody for the co-operation..........

Hello everyone, how are you doing?

eclipes,

you have 1 passport inside which CHC Singapore will stamp their visa.
Now, you go to Singapore with no Canadian visa on that, submit it to CHC Singapore, they will keep it for 3 months for visa stamping. How will you come back to your country without getting it back in your hand?

Hi eclipses,

Did not you get any instruction from VO?

No They didn't give any instruction . There is only time-frame . As I'm going to visit Singapore this week so I thought I might drop the passport to CHC . But if they take 3 months time then it won't be wise .. what you say deba_avik?

If previously people submitted passport at CHC Dhaka in person than why not in Singapore?
better make a phone call to SVO before leaving BD.

In toronto, i see UPS courier service being very popular.
i heard some ppl used fedex to send their passports and got lost on the way.
so, better use UPS. u can also use TNT courier service cause it's the cheapest and also reliable

I saw people using DHL for passport. I also have used DHL for other document but passport. You can ask your friend to send it by DHL. The address for DHL office is 95 Micro Court, Markham, ON, L3R 5N1. It is north of Warden Avenue pass Steels. If he or she use this location to send anything through DHL it will be cheaper than DHL agents in Toronto. Good luck.

You can drop in person but not yourself as you have to come back if they require more time than you stay there. You can at least try to collect yourself, and can also do this by a relative and/or friend in Spore but you have to send from your country of residence, if you cannot collect within the time frame. If you come back within the time frame they have set in their PPR, it could be wise to submit afresh through the courier service. Make a query.

Dear Deba_Avik:
As far BD Govt rule, courier company cannot take any bd passport without the consent from the BD foreign ministry. Whats your thought about it ?

Sorry, I am not sure because this is the first time we are experiencing such issues. The Canadian Visa Office should have considered all the matters and definitely will instruct in the PPR. Its wise to ask somebody from Bangladesh who has got PPR recently (after closing CHC, Dhaka).
