Finally my application status has been changed from RBVO to In Process. Keeping fingers crossed for a positive outcome. I am a pre-June 2010 applicant.

Does anyone have any idea how long it may take from now on?

thanks

HI Guys,

i hope you can advise me , Am Living in Singapore and what in common with Bangladish applicants is that we share the same VO = Singapore visa office which is just one block away from my flat!

i applied in July 2011 , i got my 2nd AOR in November 2011 .

Today i recieved an email from Singapore VO inviting me for an interview in the canadian embassy in Singapore, they asked to bring my pappsort current and old one , as well as my job related documents.
in case i didnt show up my application will be refused and cancelled.

Guys, why this interview for? does it look strange? am bit annoyed about it.
please advise
Thanks

Dear Osti,
Calling for interview is not bad always. If you have the required documents, no problem at all. They can catch you easily that's why they may call you.....lolz. Have a cup of tea with them and stay positive :) :). Many many good wishes for you. BTW, please share the experience with all of us.

Dear Hasan,
Can you please clarify the statement, it was not clear to me, how can it be application received and decision made together.

Hi Osti,
So far as I know, if the VO is not happy with your English efficiency only then they call for an interview for satisfying themselves with your English skills, you are staying in Singapore, I don't think you need to be worried.

Not really. I am not with you, sorry zhkjoy. The visa office might call you only if there is any ambiguity from their side whether in case of documents, relationship and so on. Newly married couples are most commonly faced interviews. A good presentation of documents might save anyone from interview calls.

Hi Osti,

Stay positive and honest, they won't disturb you or try to make you confused. Hope they are friendly and you will help them to understand if they have have any ambiguity. Best of luck!!
