Finally my application status has been changed from RBVO to In Process. Keeping fingers crossed for a positive outcome. I am a pre-June 2010 applicant.

Does anyone have any idea how long it may take from now on?

thanks

Dear Hollowman Bhai,

Its very clear that 17 years degree with masters would awarded
25 points.

Thanks
Jackdaw

Dear Jackdaw,

The clear things are:

1. 17 years or 17 years + education (with Masters/Ph.D) will only be awarded 25 points.
2. 15 years or 17 years or 17 years + education ( with Bachelor degree only) will be awarded less than 25 points (20 or 22 according to condition given by CIC).

Jackdaw, our most experienced one of a successful revered forum member Ahsan Bhai confirmed the issue with reference and confidently. So, we are above the ambiguity now regarding this confusion. But the clear and rigid things are the above 2 points. Hope we all are clear.

Hi Debu,

Is there any update for you in e-cas?

Dear seniors
Please explain what does it mean? ''Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive final determination of eligibility for processing on the basis of work experience in an occupation specified in the Instructions issued by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on June 26, 2010.Your application will be forwarded to the visa office for further processing.''
Did cic calculate my points? as per cic guideline "If your application is eligible for processing, your application will be assessed against the following requirements:
minimal requirements
selection factors
sufficient funds
If your score is equal to or greater than the pass mark, your application will be sent to the visa office for further processing. Got PER on 30th of March, 2011. Last one year waiting for further processing. How long will be wait??? Please reply to me.

please share your detailed timeline for better understanding. it is said that sometimes CIO only assess the complete application based on MI and VO does the detailed point calculation.
did u applied yourself or through an agent?

I am post June applicant. There mentioned if your score is equal or grater than 67 then sent to VO office for further process. I was sending all documents to CIC. Timeline. I applied myself.

NOC_4152
Applied- 22-01-2011
Got PER- 30-03-2011
Received AOR from SGVO- 6-05-2011
RBVO- 20-04-2011.

I'm almost parallel with your timeline. only difference is that, 1st I got NER then PER.
u can see my time line at my left!!

That was really a good morning wish for you....all the best.

kochi,

It means CIO has initially calculated your points roughly and this was very close to what you had done or your consultant did. in most cases, CIO let the applications pass their border and transfer them to the designated visa offices. applicants find their points calculated by a VO when their status comes to an IN PROCESS with a date. This is where you're currently waiting to reach. You will be judged and given the MR,visa based on the preferences of Canadian job market. no one can specifically say when they'd get their MR's but what I have been watching these days that they are praying more to avoid getting DECISION MADE than hoping for MR.
